You did but do not now, if mentioned will now be honoured

Why so now then, if not before?

Backpedaling climbdown? It'll be open to to general public next.
If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.
If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.

I can't see why it would be back-pedalling, as they'd have been able to calculate what they were going to lose in excess amounts being transferred out before they made their decision. Oh well, I guess we'll never know. Maybe they're opening accounts for the ones who might complain, in an effort to keep their complaints numbers down :D .

I'm sure we'll never know for the same reason, as most people on here acknowledged, that there seemed to be no apparant logic behind who got the original letter to their once (but no longer) "exclusive" by "invitation only" saver offer in the first place.

One can only assume that they must be making assumptions about the updsides of pulling an unprofitable 4% product against the potential fall out on 27 June from withdrawals.... either that or (as it seems to me) they are simply making it up as they go along. ;)

    Haha, I love this forum
Can I find out my credit score?
You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)

& as some people are upset they did not receive the offer letter it's quite simple.
The main factor is your marketing preferences state Not Allowed To Market hence differences in letters sent

Depends on the different products you hold with Lloyds, account is simple £1.00 to £50,000 3% fixed for 12 months with no loss of interest

I have "No email marketing" set but Mrs Kar has it set to receive and we both have the same current account/savings products (no borrowings) and use them the same way, but no invite letters to either of us... oh well ... time to move on.... Vantage at 4% was good while it lasted.

As the change over does not happen until 27 June, opening an account at the start of May is surely premature as it is beneficial to keep the 4% rate as long as possible, and then get 12 months at 3%. Accounts opened in April with vantage funds will mean the saver is going to lose 1% interest for 2 months, or if the account is opened and the intention is to fund in June the saver will only get 10 months rather than 12 at 3% guaranteed and 2 months will be wasted.
It feels that people insisting on opening accounts now are being impatient. Lloyds TSB will no doubt launch the account for all nearer to 27 June.

There is no guarantee of 3% for 12 months in the Ts&Cs, the rate is variable, as per my original post.
