LTSB Incentive Saver

Per the online terms:
2.4 If you make a withdrawal in a month you will not earn interest on the Account in that month. A month is taken from the date of account opening, and will fall on the same date each calendar month (or the next working day if this is a non-working day or there is no such date in any particular month).
So - can you not take money out without losing all interest? There's no reference to this in the terms and conditions that were sent after I'd opened this account, so presumably this only relates to previous versions of this account as the current version isn't available online to view its terms and conditions.KirbyBirch wrote: »These terms related to the OLD incentive saver only.
The NEW incentive saver can have money moved in and out with NO loss of interest.
I believe that's what I was inferring in my post in response to post #46.0 -
Can you rely on their letter with the conditions though. Because it also says that the rate is variable and is paid monthly.
I did telephone and ask for the actual T&Cs but they haven't sent them.0 -

I can scan a copy of the terms and conditions sent to me after I opened the current Incentive Saver for you, but I don't know how to attach it to a post, if you can tell me how to do that, I'll post on here for you. I'm afraid I only know how to attach URL links.0 -

Could you put the scan on an online photo site? Then you could provide us with a URL link to it.
In my recent letter there were only THREE sub-paragraphs under the main section headed '2 Deposits and Withdrawals'
2.1 The account has a minimum opening balance of £1.
2.2 You can pay money into the account in branch, or by transferring money from an account with us or another bank.
2.3 You can only make payments from this Account using Telephone Banking or Internet Banking and the payment must be made to a Lloyds TSB current or savings account in your name (in the case of a joint account, in any of your names). You cannot set up standing orders on the account to make these payments.0 -

The information you have is exactly the same as that which was sent to me. The page comprises paragraphs:
1 Eligibility
1.1
1.2
2 Deposits and withdrawals
2.1
2.2
2.3
3 Interest
3.1
3.2
3.3
3.4
4 Closing your account
4.1
4.2
5 Cooling off
5.1
I haven't typed all the text, as it will be the same as that which you already have.
By the way, do you suggest any online photo site for future use? I've never used one.0 -
On the following online page, headed Incentive Saver important information, there is a further paragraph, being paragraph 2.4, for the section headed 2 DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS
http://www.lloydstsb.com/legal/savings_legal/incentive_saver_imp_info.asp
It says
2.4 If you make a withdrawal in a month you will not earn interest on the Account in that month. A month is taken from the date of account opening, and will fall on the same date each calendar month (or the next working day if it is a non working day or there is no such date in that particular month).
This particular paragraph is omitted from the Incentive Saver conditions that came with my letter.0 -

Yes, this relates to the previous versions of the Incentive Saver. The current version's t&c's aren't available online.0 -
For 'online photo storage', Google shows a few sites like Photobucket and Flickr
eg, http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GPCK_enGB418GB418&q=online+photo+storage
Hope that helps.0 -
Hope this works, I've downloaded the picture to an online photo site, but have been given the option of HTML or IMG and don't know which I should use, so I'll try one and if that doesn't work, I'll try another. THIS should produce the document.0

I think your URL address is wrong.
Having uploaded the image to the Photobucket or Flickr site or wherever, all as per their instructions, then when it has uploaded, do a 'Right Click' on it and look at its Properties in the little Window that will pop up. You can then get the URL address from that.
Then use MSE's little 'tool' thus:and stick the image's online URL address in there.
