Evening All

I have just put my heating on to warm the house up:eek: it is freezing here, went out earlier and covered all my seedlings, strawberry, raspberry, gooseberry and redcurrant plants with fleece and even put some round the pear and cherry tree.

Hear the farmers bleating that they will have to put prices up and there could be shortages soon if we have no rain, plus the wheat harvest could fail ( Come next week it will be because we have had too much rain or frost blah blah)

DD is over the moon she has been trying for ages and our Job centre is not fit for purpose - in the end it was a friend who got her a job where she works, lousy hours and shop work but it is a job at least. She can now look for something else at her leisure.
