Could anyone else confirm out there if they have tried the 15" television with the half price bracket offer, only just seen this on the misprice thread?

Even if there is such an offer I can't see anyone getting the tv for free because they charge you full price on the bracket.

Of course it all depends on the POS wording:o

although i put a lot of effort in to those posts.............I'm glad the whole episode has gone.

For those wondering about this..note the gap between this post and the previous one.

shame they didnt clear the crap that was put on earlier today though
  • In light of the store managers now taking the policy into their own hands, do people think this could be Tesco giving themselves enough rope to hang themselves? Surely if they're going to start accusing every customer of defrauding, or whatever their favourite word is, with every R&R trading standards will have more material to actually build a case? Of course, whether TS can afford to build a case and carry it through is another matter.
It really makes my blood boil that Tesco happily overcharges, but gets shirty at the customers who buck the system.

  • Been reading all about these for a few days now and I have to say I'm going to keep my eyes out today when I do the shopping, maybe something cheap to test the system.

One quick question I do have is what if you were to purchase an item and then leave the store and the store changes any evidence for your claims by the time you have contacted cs?
