Erm, this thread's getting a little 'heated'.

Ok, does anyone here know if there's a price check scanning area in the Carmarthen Tesco Extra?

If someone knows, please answer as it wil allow the 'heated debate' to continue unhindered...

Calm down everyone - let's enjoy R&R's - not argue over them!!!

No there isn't one I'm afraid.

The 2 ones near me that are supposed to have them are all broke.

I have some comments regarding going underground etc...

This time of year is key to each and every retailer and most people within retail companies will be putting in many hours in order to keep their stores running and trading at maximum profitability - note the lack of constantine!!!

Not retribution, revenge or a desire to see things put right. If the aforementioned were the true reasons then everyone would post all misprices in an attempt to make Tesco pay as much as possible -

I agree with most of your post .....however

I dont think everyone has expressed these reasons for RandRing..

I havent had an RandR since my Champagne, 3 weeks ago.......so its not as if we are "at it" everyday.........snapping up everything.

I do it purely to help "those that matter to me", and have no real concern for Tesco's to "get it right".

So its not greed, its so when we see a biggie, we give others a chance to get it, before the likes of TescoEmployee get the chance to "shop us".

Having said all that.........I am not a member of any of the private forums dealing with RandRs, but agree with and understand the need for something to be done.

I would imagine that books, games, cds, all food, would be posted quite normally on the misprices thread.........and others may still be reported, but maybe 24 hours after first detection.(but this is my own opinion)
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

  • I agree Leadhead, not all of us out there are just going out every day getting free stuff that we don't want anyway, I visit tesco a couple of times a week to do my shopping and will look out for somethings but don't just get stuff for the sake of it.

Kronen i am going to try and clear this up....

There isn't a £20 spend limit on any virgin or vodaphone mobile. There also isnt any POS stating that there is a £20 spend limit. The POS is system generated based on the current offer. The POS says £99.99 or £79.99 when you spend £20 on airtime.

Spa .....are you 100% sure it is impossible for the words "airtime" to be replaced with "in store" on a SEL or POS, as Kronen, seems adamant he is correct.

Could this not just be down to in store printer operator error...or the like.

nope, as mistakes of this ilk have been made before.

I apologise to kronen if (s)he felt that (s)he was being victimised, however in my experience at our store I know that the pos states the correct offer.

If you have a free phone then fair play......
