I have some comments regarding going underground etc...

This time of year is key to each and every retailer and most people within retail companies will be putting in many hours in order to keep their stores running and trading at maximum profitability - note the lack of constantine!!!

This means that spare time is minimal and that staff simply dont have the time to go looking for "that book posted on that website".

I can say that personally I rarely if ever look at the misprices thread as I am more interested in getting it right without the help of this website. I will say that yes at times and on certain items this site has made me more vigilant however the time does not exist whereby I could go and check every single misprice that appears on here - and i would be suprised if any store had the spare people to do so.

Going underground may well seem to be the way to go, quite honestly i am not bothered either way....good luck to you if you do so however it kind of shows peoples true reasoning for obtaining r&R - pure greed. Not retribution, revenge or a desire to see things put right. If the aforementioned were the true reasons then everyone would post all misprices in an attempt to make Tesco pay as much as possible - the less people that know the less Tesco will pay out.

edit: and no I am not peed off at not being invitied into the so called circle of trust!!

Yes the Tmobile Benq, so if you see the 20cm X 15cm yellow sign, which says £99.99 or £79.99 when £20 instore you're on to a winner.

It is suppose to say £20 airtime I know that.

Kronen i am going to try and clear this up....

There isn't a £20 spend limit on any virgin or vodaphone mobile. There also isnt any POS stating that there is a £20 spend limit. The POS is system generated based on the current offer. The POS says £99.99 or £79.99 when you spend £20 on airtime.

I am not the only one that has managed to get the peble on what I have said. There was a 20X10 sign that said it.
The Benq will be the same.
I don't care if anyone on here thinks I'm lying I have a free phone,
I thought you had said not to go underground to help other people out I've reported a misprice publicly to help others out & I feel I am getting slated fot it & not believed. I will not bother in future.
Any doubters go & look for yourselves.
    I'm finished here tonight.

I agree on some points but while tesco continue to rip off 99% of its customers without them knowing, the 1 % being us id happily "go underground" :T

We are still giving tescos the oppurtunity to put things right

Why should they use this website to help them keep their prices right? :D

Its ludicrous, surely thats what the price intergrity team are paid for? ;)

Nope, we'll go underground and keep striking hard. Maybe one day tescos will learn then to get their prices right without relying on an internet site to do it for them?
    £2051.50 since Oct 25 2006 ;) Make mine a Golden £143.46 :D

Erm, this thread's getting a little 'heated'.

Ok, does anyone here know if there's a price check scanning area in the Carmarthen Tesco Extra?

If someone knows, please answer as it wil allow the 'heated debate' to continue unhindered...

Calm down everyone - let's enjoy R&R's - not argue over them!!!

I went into a store earlier today and was looking at the mobile offers. What caught my attention was that on two of the POS labels there was hand printed text, with a block of machine printed text blacked out with pen. Looking closely you could make out the text underneath the inked out region. The labels were for a payg Vodafone mobile and a payg Virgin mobile. Basically the label was originally offering £20 off the Vodafone mobile when you bought £20 Virgin airtime, and the label for the Virgin mobile originally offered £20 off when you bought £20 Vodafone airtime.

The hand printed text corrected these mistakes to the relevant network airtime purchase.

Lets hope one day they do. :rotfl:

If that is true, why is it when people post misprices on here you say you are going to "note that down and report it back straight away" which makes it sound like we are in a playground and you are going to grass us all up. I understand that you will want to correct the misprices that you see on here and are very much loyal to Tesco (you must be very well treated by them) but by talking in this manner you are obviously trying to get peoples backs up.
