how are those of us who arent very good at finding misprices, and also those of us who arent that confident in posting on here supposed to benefit from the tesco misprices if were not in your 'circle of trust gang' :mad:
sucks !!!! that yor creating a 'them and us' gap amongst all the good honest people here

mrs2fat, you have managed to put down in words what I have been trying to say as well. Hopefully too many people use these threads for this idea to take off. It would be unfair for an 'elite few' to be the only ones to benefit from what to date we have all shared in. Hopefully others agree.

You should be ok doing this on odd occasions, but it is believed that points added at CS, flag up on their system.

I have had points previously added this way, then deducted at a later date......this applies to "wombled" points as well.

Sooner or later all "false" points may be detected......it all depends whether enough attention is drawn to the individuals account.

firstly i think there will always be misprices here
but if you have read the previous posts you will know a certain member has been logging on to here and making it quite obvious that he gets all information from here and sends emails through the host system to correct overcharges
saying that -people are still picking up the overcharges through the stores so hes not actually doing a very good job because people are still claiming them

its not an us and them its just staying a few steps ahead
and its not only this site that displays overcharges
i know of two others that is open for people

Yes, it will be even more useful to the people that go to Tescos looking for misprices as they will actually stand some chance of finding them because the Tesco employees that read this read will hopefully not have had chance to correct them!

I cant speak for Martin as I dont the know the man, but I'm fairly sure this site isnt here just for the sole purpose of posting misprices!

I dont think thats the case at all, all thats happening is that because Tesco are reading this thread and correcting misprices by sending out emails to all stores containing lists off here its making it even harder for people that "arent very good at finding them" because they arent there to be found in the first place!

To be honest, if you solely relied on misprices you found on this site, you will start finding it increasingly difficult to find misprices unless you go out looking for them within minutes of them being posted.



EDIT: I forgot to add, for someone who "isnt that confident in posting on here" you arent doing too badly, slating what most people are thinking is a good idea!

the way i see wlfc 1's post is - dont post your misprices on here for everyone to see, email them to me me me and i will forward them to my very bestest friends so that only us can have them.
i appreciate that tescos are using this site to correct prices, but it is an OPEN FORUM!!!

I'm not at the moment as it happens, I will certainly consider emailing him though as I reckon its a great idea. I do PM a few members on here but have stopped posting misprices on here for two reasons..

1, The Tesco employees that use this site to make life harder for people trying to get R&Rs

2, (and most annoying) the last few times I did post misprices on the misprice thread my posts got deleted!


I only started R&Ring in August so I'm in no way an old pro or anything like some of the guys on here, but I have soon come to realise that the best way of finding the best misprices is to DO IT YOURSELF!

Of course its handy to have a site like this or the others, but I usually find half of the misprices listed have already been corrected by the time I go out looking for them and the other half are ones I've found before they get posted anyway!

Keep it public and keep it honest I say. This is open, manageable and assessable. We are a large group that work together.
