I don't think being a Tesco employee is anything to be proud of. It's not like you need much intelligence to work in a supermarket. Have you ever been into ASda at night when they're filling the shelves? It's full of "released back into the community people" - to work for asda you dont go for an interveiw - they call it an "Audition" and that's why it's one big pantomime!
I'm still hunting for an R&R turkey to complete my free Christmas dinner!

  • i will scan a few at about dinnertime today and if i find any i will pm you
  • Quick post all.

As a good RnR-er should, I've paid cash, no clubcard. Am I safe to put the points back on once the R&R is complete at a later date in a later store? What about if I am doing a golden RnR - surely they've scanned my receipt once and know that it has been refunded. If they scanned it again would they not find this out and by giving them my clubcard to scan against that receipt they'd be able to I.D me?

Y'know, I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm in a funny mood. Maybe its my particular perspective. Maybe its the phasing of the moon...but huge chucks of the posts on here tonight have been Pure Comedy Gold for me :D I think I may read it all again :D

Except for the post below, which quite frankly sucks on every level. Hell...for a slagging off Tesco thread it does not even get the correct company! :rotfl:

Who or what was I before you came in to my life
    I am not sure
  • I can understand why people might slag of certain tesco employees because of their attitude when posting rubbish wind up comments. But i find all the services that Tesco's offer to be very helpful to us shift workers and lets face it on the whole their products and services are very keenly priced.
But i must admit i have been very surprised at how often prices are wrong and if it was not for this website i would have just carried on buying without checking my bills. I have in the past wondered when our home delivery seems to be more expensive than we thought and after checking just lately have found that sometimes special offers that we ordered had not been taken off the bill.
I have been like a spoilt child in the last few weeks trying to get my own back by going out looking for R&R's. It has been like a game, sneaking and hunting through the shelves. I have decided that i will still look out for them but i will put them to good use
