  • I do believe my original post does not mention e-mails or anything being 'stored on a computer';)

That is correct, I just indicated that information is relayed. Any TESCO customer has the right to see any information, both true or libelous, held about them electronically by TESCO and that under the Data Protection Act the person responsible for any incorrect information, along with the company, could be brought to book. ;););););)

do you just put these items in with ur main shop then R&R? Or do them seperately? Just thought if I bought only 10 things, all R&R I would look super dodgy, but I dont want to miss out on my points from main shop!

It is usual to mix meat and other food items in with a normal shop.

What is the best option....£30 free RandRs, and no hassle.

or £30 worth of RandRs, 50pence worth of points and Tescos maybe adding you to a list of possible serial RandRers.

Now this wont happen after one or two incidents....but come the time you get a couple of over £50 ones....then the Clubcard becomes your record of refunds.........and you possibly become "marked"

Then you see the mispriced £799.99 Sony TV.....everything is going great.....until,..... "wait a minute"....CS says....."we see you've had lots of refunds in the past"...."you must be part of that "site""...........and the difficulties begin.

Believe me.......We've been there, done that......got the bans and letters.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Will they contact these customers to offer them a refund or even the difference......? I very much doubt it. Too busy counting their profits.

Thats quite interesting TescoEmployee because whilst you may not have mentioned anything being stored on a computer you have indicated that information about potential abusers are collected and passed around stores, I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that this is done manually and written down rather than on a computer but I would also like to point out that since the data protection act was amended in 1998 it now includes manually stored records as well as electronically based.

so basically are you saying that you collect information (and possibly opinions rather than cold hard facts) about potential R&Rers? Because if you are admitting to that then you are quite possibly admitting to commiting a crime which i'm sure many of the people who have information about them stored would be interested to hear.
  • I personally try to outwit Tesco staff , it's not very difficult and i'm not very clever. I'm sure employees like TescoEmployee input all the data i give them when i get my R&R:mad:

    Unfortunately it's the wrong information;)

Tesco currently know me by approximately 26 names, and even more addresses :rotfl:
