If you want to be constructive in addressing this serious issue of overcharging i suggest that you take the pro-active approach and try to stop the potential at source.

2 additional full timers have been recruited for the PI dept to help combat the issue.

This is to ensure that the correct process is followed - The SELs are removed, The SEM made aware, PI informed etc, - Correct prices are a major priority now thanks in part to this forum

Was just wondering if anyone else on the thread shops where I do

It wouldn't help you to know if we did, TBH. It is best not to post the store name when posting on these threads, in case you can be identified, so you will notice most regulars will not say where they are.

We cannot tell you where the misprices are. You need to write yourself a list of the most recent misprices that you might actually want to buy, then go and look in several stores. Lots and lots of different Tesco stores, several times a week. You will then start to spot discrepancies yourself.

Don't just look in one store and then post here 'nothing in my local...' (as some do, lol!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

hi all..a question...I saw a few dvds that had stickers on them that were higher than the sel. if they scan at the sticker price can I claim an overcharge or will they fob me off with "its not an overcharge because it scanned at the price on the sticker"

    ta

2 prices, they have to sell you at the cheapest.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

But less job satisfaction - The store would rather be overspent on Wages than have high r+r figures;)

  • Im answering peoples posts to me so i don't see that as boasting just explaining what i now do as part of my job routine (ie: Check and correct price errors found via this site)

Now, TE, I've treated you with respect and consideration. I would appreciate the same from you. Your reply above is an insult to my intelligence. We both know that today you have posted purposely to boast.
