what is a golden r&r?
You get a normal R+R, they don't mark your receipt, you then take the item back again (preferably to a different store) and they give you a cash refund.
It also works a treat if Dundee sort out your original R+R by sending a cheque in the post as your receipt won't be marked and the store probably won't know you got an R+R on it.
Redfox - any way you can add the definition of a Golden R+R to the first page of this thread, as the question keeps arising over and over again.0 -

It's when you get an r&r and your receipt is not marked. You then take the item back to a store (probably best to another store) where you get a refund on it.0 -
You can often wangle a Golden R+R even when the receipt IS marked, as they often just write an illegible scribble on it. If you take it back to another store and they question the scribble, just say it was the CS desk confirming you'd collected the item from the desk as you paid for a dummy box at the till (similar to the way Argos rubber stamp your receipt with "RECEIVED").0

Has anyone else had any luck with the Argentinian Shiraz misprice? I could not find it in the store I visited today and there WAS umpteen different types of shiraz, but no argentinian - do I need to check the much larger stores?DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

Postie, I think this is the one, it's the only Argentian Shiraz I could find in store although they sell it online for £2.84 per bottle !
