  • Just seen this on Misprices so dragged it over here!!

These were going through at £44.97 in the Cumbernauld store on Monday Seems to be another one of those mysterious pricing policies Mr T has...

You do know it is Wednesday today and prices change on a daily basis at Tesco's!!
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now
  • I would like to hear what TescoEmployee thinks of the treatment of BigJohnnyB's partner. Surely no one can justify or defend the treatment that he recieved.

My advise to BigJonnyB, if you identity is not an issue, either go to a disabled group, as said before, or go to a tabloid. I promise you the nationals will love it. The idea of someone disabled being treated so appallingly by the number one supermarket will be an instant hit. Would also be a could negotiating tool. I guarantee they would give you almost anything to avoid the bad publicity.

It is up to you how you deal with this but do not let them get away with it. The only way Tesco's and other places will learn is if they are taught a lesson.

  • Oh I keep reading on here how people don't use there clubcards because it is how they get earmarked by Tesco. I do not understand this.

You buy the product and give the checkout assistant your clubcard. Tesco record the fact that you have brought the product, lets say a DVD. The only way Tesco will know you have then gained an r&r is if you give them your clubcard when they give you the refund so they take the points off. If they don't do this the Tesco database will only record the fact you have brought a DVD, it has no way of knowing you then got a refund on it.

I have only had about 10 r&r's in about 5 stores but I have never had my clubcard points taken off. I have never even given cs my clubcard. Have the people who have been banned or worried about it had there points taken off? Is it Tesco policy to take the points off? I thought they let you keep the points as it was there mistake. I was just a little confused as I have never had my points taken off.

Don't have a clubcard myself :D but surely when you present your clubard at the till, it prints the clubcard number on the receipt?
