MyUserNamesTaken wrote:Leadhead, I've been participating on these threads for a very long time. I have read TE's previous posts. Today, TE has turned around and become a constructive, friendly and informative poster. I'm happy for it to stay that way. I was referring to his post about the potential misprice as not baiting, not posts made by him previously.
I know youve been here a long time, but just because TE has been "good" today, doesnt mean its for good(although i'd really, really like to believe it)........and i did......until the MASSIVE O/C posting.
Hope I am wrong and you are right.
WHERE IS HE ANYWAY..let him defend his post.
It really made me think......................why post this drivel ....again.
Re previous posts, I was just making comparison with the baiting in earlier posts, to the baiting in this recent post.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

 and it's just coincidence that TE has gone offline now after suggesting there is a MASSIVE misprice in their store :eek:I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0

TescoEmployee wrote:Just on this point you should have NO trouble in redeeming JS coupons at Tesco - We accept them all (But you must meet the conditions on the coupon ie: Save £5 when you spend £50 etc,)
JS have a national mailout at the moment with conditional spend vouchers and Tesco are happy to accept them.
No, I mean the ones out of the Sainsburys mag - no conditons attached just £1 off bottle of wine etc. Some Tesco sa won't accept, but others do, and they do scan nicely thru Tescos tills - buy the Sainsburys mag for a couple of pounds, save £15 on your shopping.....Just love Tescos0 -

He said earlier that he had to go to work, as did Constantine. I take it you skipped the posts about going in to sort out space in their warehouses?
Seriously, you people are sometimes far too quick to jump on others. You really could do with showing a little more tolerance. (Aimed at many people, leadhead - not specifically at you.)In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

Try reading the thread, CD. Both Constantine and TE said that they had to go to work. It's best not to jump to conclusions before availing yourself of all the relevant information. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

MyUserNamesTaken wrote:Look at the context of the post. It was a discussion between two members of Tesco management and me. I don't think it was meant to bait people into looking for this "potentially massive misprice".
Now, we've managed to keep the thread friendly and polite. Can people please try to keep it up. After all, remember we're under threat of closure if the thread caused the abuse team and mods too many problems.
Keep it civil please, people.
I have been civil throughout i just expressed my opinion as to why TE felt the need to say the comment they had
Even if the conversation was between yourself and 2 Tesco managers is irrelevant it's a chat room forum where plenty of people log in and view what is being discussed.
Not exactly as if it was a hush hush chatI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
Wow, what an interesting thread, despite being a zillion miles off at a tangant.
I agree with MUNT, TescoEmployee has been a revelation, referring back to his first post I am an employee at Tesco and i just want to say a massive thank you for all the above information - I have alerted head office and will be monitoring this forum and e-mail out to all stores whenever there seems to be a pricing problem so that it can be recitified.
This forum is complete abuse of the Tesco refund system so i must say THANK YOU once again for all the detailed information regarding refunds, clubcard scams etc, - I look forward to reading your messages and e-mailing action to take to all Tesco stores in the UK.
it is difficult to believe that this is the same person, making rational intelligent and articulate comments.
Whether it should be on this thread is another matter.
May I also just ask Leadhead a question, what is a troll - is it an employee, or an anti r&r'er, you seem to mention them an awful lot.
This is a debate forum so I say welcome to employees, the more time they spend reading this, the less time they have fixing misprices!0 -
i got moaned at earlier for being sarcastic or whatever i believe that what i said is right, they do bait people and like cs staff they then try and make you believe it's your fault0

As I said, in the context of the conversation, it was an acceptable post. It wasn't meant to be hush hush - I don't work for Tesco. In fact, I'm probably close to being banned from one of my locals. It was a discussion between people who were participating on the thread at the time. You weren't really posting much, nor was Leadhead. The main three people posting were two employees and a member of the general public. One point I would like to make is this: Has it been Constantine who had posted it, most people here would have taken it as a joke, or laughed it off. We wouldn't be having this discussion now if Constantine had said it.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
