Yep I noticed that bubble bath isn't included either I can see some confusion at the tills aheadbut I am just so relieved that it includes toys as that is my major category will just work around the other categories and as some people give me money to buy presents for the little ones I can use the cash on items that aren't included so that's sorted.
Major headache is my older two and also their 21st just devoid of ideas. Thought I had finally got an Amazon voucher on the bingo only to find they have changed the requirements yet again  so as they can take some time to send them I am not now counting on one before Christmas although I have swapped normal spends to that card so might get some through that.
Do have some M&S vouchers and notice that they have some football socks so need to get some as I want to make some football sock monkeys I know they have Arsenal which I need but need to check about the villa really need to take a look to make sure the socks are suitable will have to do the monkeys upside down to normal because of the logo so a new challenge ahead
Should be able to do the money shuffle tomorrow looking forward to that

You still have the money shuffle to do! Thats going to be so exciting - and I noticed in Martin's email that Tesco were finally doing their thing, & thought of you - sorry about the voucher tho. Vibes, and more vibes, heading your way.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

DT do you need some help with ideas for their 21st? Big pressies or small ones? My first thought was a memory book of each? I did this for my son, I ordered it online (got a deal courtesy of MSE obviously!) and I started with his scan picture as his fist picture then baby pictures and milestones and I did all memories up to his present age...its lovely if I say so myself!0

That's a great idea. If it helps, I've using lots of 'free' (you pay postage) offers from Vistaprint for Christmas - i've ordered prints, albums, calendars etc. I've now had an email offering a diary and notebook! Tescos also do photos. Ordered 50 free prints last week and collected in store so no extra cost. I also signed up to an offer via toys r us for pics! My family will have more than enough photos of my boys!!!One step at a time0 -
Thanks for the birthday ideas but we did a memory book for them when they were 18 but the baaaaaaaaaaarking one has come up with a good suggestion :A
Had a lovely day yesterday nice coffee and a walk along the quay and through the woods with my OH the weather was lovely and we have now set apart a few hours in our diaries each week for us time
In the evening we went out for a meal to celebrate our anniversary which was excellent
Today I have done the money shuffle paying £6428.77 off our debts leaving us with a total CC debt of £8631.97 less than 10% of what it was at its highest :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I have closed another CC with a limit of £10200 and once the latest payments generate a nil statement I will be closing two more with a total limit of £16K and with the limits I reduced last week that is a heck of a lot of available credit removed which hopefully will go in our favour when we come to renew our mortgage deal next year :money:
I can hardly believe our CC debt is in single figures and within the next 6 months it will be gone
I am partly through transferring 5 months of "salary" into our offset account have to do it in two parts because of the payment limits but tomorrow all the money will be in the correct place and our budget for the next 6 months is in place and all looks good.

I'm quietly jealous but so so so pleased for you!! You must have been really excited making all those transfers. Well done, DT for masterminding it all. I really hope now that the next year is far less stressful for you.

I still have the everest of the mortgage to tackle but the thought of getting rid of the CC debt is fab never thought we would manage it but now I know we will
Just a small question I used to lie awake at night worrying about money which I think is quite normal - but now every night before I go to sleep I still think about money but about how much we have paid off and future paying off plans - surely that is not normal - but slightlyobsessive

Old habits and all that!! The thing is, you are now well and truly motivated. I always find when i've made an achievement, I'm slightly more impatient than usual () about clearing the next hurdle. Once you're in the financial mire, the meaning of getting out of it is gi-normousAt least those late night thoughts are positive ones
