Sending out positive messages for you. All the finger crossing worked for me!!!
Try to think of the things that are within your control - can you de-clutter and sell anything - can you make special occasions money neutral - maybe go back to free bingo!

Sorry for the lack of updates I have been busy
1. I have updated CV for different sort of job
2. Searched for jobs in a different legal field
3. Arranged some more work experience for next Tuesday
4. Doing legal refresher course
5. Perfecting new craft
6. Looking at finances again
I have set myself a challenge to pay £1000 per month off my CCs until the end of the year either by upping income - job, selling stuff etc or reducing spending and I am going to do it by paying the £1000 at the beginning of the month as soon as my "monthly pay" arrives from my offset account so I have no choice but to find the £1000 by the end of the month come what may this will be in addition to my normal minimum payments.
First card to tackle is M&S balance £1626 so I will be paying a £1000 off that next week with the balance cleared in September and that will be one card out of the way:D
I need a challenge to get this debt gone OH has got a run of 4 small paying (for a change) jobs so he will have £248 to add to the paying off fund next week which is a brilliant :T not something that can be relied on but it is a big help

Sounds like lots of moves in the right direction, hopefully it will start to show results soon especially on the job front.0

One of the things I was thinking about when you were writing about your income shortfall was - do you know how much you are short by? Or is it too difficult because of the way you are paid, and the offset mortgage etc.
Once you get your focus on something you are a force to be reckoned with.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Once you get your focus on something you are a force to be reckoned with.
The shortfall is because of the house in Lanzarote and I just never know how much the bills are going to be from month to month and there is no way to work out an average there are too many variables and the last 3 months with the claim and unexpected repairs have been
Household wise the budget is tight but doable but no room for the unexpected which is the bit I am not comfortable with however this end of the year except for Christmas (which I intend to make money neutral) is easier less money going out so hence why I want to make a concerted effort to shift some debt and then reassess in the New Year when I will be working (notice the positive vibes here :rotfl:)
On a completely different front just finished knitting and sewing up a dog for my little boy and he loves it - something I wanted to finish before I go on to concentrate on my new craftI am about to practice on my big boy and then my little girl so its one that will appeal to all ages although I was surprised about the request from my OS although he has asked for a modification which will be challenging to the extreme
typical :rotfl:
