  • The room only took minion about half an hour - once you discounted the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

    [shakes head]

Honestly, you would think that I had suggested ritual sacrifice and mummification of the flaming cat on the kitchen table.

Anyway, she has regained the laptop and peace reigns once more at Tightfisted Towers.

Going to remain vegetating for the rest of the day, as vacuuming downstairs and putting another WM load on is more than I intended to do.

  • Well, haven't managed much of the list today, I've made the most of our last day off, however, I've been and bought a bike in an attempt to get fit.

Have vacuumed the living room, tidied kitchen and 1xdw 2xwm.

Am going to add some of the Monday tasks to tomorrow as dd and dh off to school and work tomorrow so will only have ds at home to 'assist' :D
  • Evening all

Dogbot has been walked and OH and I enjoyed an ice cream on the beach.

Whilst we were out DD changed her bedding so that has now been popped into the WM and will go on the line in the morning. OH wanted to put it in the dryer but changed his mind once I adviced him of how much the average load costs;).

Kitchen has been given the once over but the floor still needs mopping but that can wait until tomorrow when everyone else is back in work/school.

water, washing up liquid and a squeegee...

Windows looking a lot better - except for the french windows as the dog decided her task was to replace the smeary nosemarks. Thanks for the tip pigpen. Still don't think windows are my forte but definately better.

Made a note in my phone to have chimney swept next month as usually have it done June and Dec. Most of Mondays list done and dusted - literally.

Myself and OH have been building a raised bed to grow veg in as last year the rabbits were rubbing their paws in delight everytime we planted something new. It was a lovely banquet for them but sadly lacking for us.

My dog is a rescue greyhound but doesn't even bother to chase the rabbits - presumably why she didn't make it a a racer. Or maybe she has just seen the never ending supply of dog food in the cupboard that requires no chasing at all! :p
