    I'm avoiding planning for tomorrow....;)

Been busy today. Did the kitchen:Dthis morning - prefer to do that on Monday, and living room covered with sleeping teenagers.

Then, DS2 and I took all the cut down laurel to the tip, and then on to the allotment for an hour and a half. I finished digging one bed, and DS2 cleared weeds from 3/4 of another one. I also watered all the new plantings, as I'm not going to get back down till Wednesday.

I really must get on with the planning....

:hello:to all my flylady friends, and also hi to all the newbies.

Love and hugs, especially for lady-liberty, toots and lamewolf.

    That is sooo nice :)
Have brought bedding in - all lovely and dry :) Another load has gone on washing line and going to run machine through a clean wash on it's own to freshen the machine up :)
More de-cluttering of boxes to carry on with :)

Well, OH seems to have caught the mood and has mucked out the utility room, and done 2 trips to the tip and 2 loads of laundry while I was at the pub with the kids and a group of friends! (all female, which is why he didn't come - we always meet on Monday, and 2 of them have RAF husbands away flying at the moment so we met despite bank holiday today)

So I've managed levels 1 and 2 for front hall, back hall, utility room and about half the sitting room. Will do other half when kids in bed. 14m boy asleep on my lap, 3yr girl asleep on sofa so I'm guessing we'll be 2 for 2 down and out in the next 10 minutes!
Everything happens for a reason :)

    Hello again :)
Just checked out best ways to clean drum of washing machine and majority of answers I have found have been to put capful of white vinegar into drawer - half in powder part and other half in softener part - and put empty washing machine on hottest temperature cycle.
Has anyone tried this please and does it work without breaking the machine?
    Many thanx,
    Jen :)

My mum took Dd to Derby today so she could work in my neice's new cafe-in-the-park...

The dishwasher blew up - DD has apparently, been a star (she did get paid) and has washed/dried and sold ice cream. The cafe-in-the-park did well (weather helped); hope this business works out for them both (neice is co-owner with her aunt on her dad's side. I however got lost (again) and ended up ouitside Rolls Royce (among other places) Eventually they sent out a search party. I got home withour problems but seem to have spent a lot of timje on the A52 aka Brian Clough Way, which links Nottingham and Derby, this past week.

Washing in and bone dry. It's so windy it's like a tumble drier out there SO I don't think i shall be ironing much of it.

well - it was either an earthquake or flyladies simultaneously falling off their chairs. In shock :rotfl:

Jenny - it works - I just take mine off spin.

I seem to be getting there today, need to go and cook some pork for tea - not what we were going to have but need to use up the defrosted stuff. Will be ringing the coop tomorrow morning to point out that freezers are supposed to last more than 3 days:mad:

Am going to have a long chat with DS later - I had the misfortune to open his bedroom door at the weekend and the sight was . I retrieved some glasses but didn't want to venture in far enought to get the dishes.
Edit - have spoken to him and he intends to work on it tomorrow.

Have also managed to dye my hand towels and bath mat for the ensuite. They are a bit dark but a lovely colour all the same.

Have also got the holes filled in the wall of the downstairs loo ready for repainting.

All in all quite a constructive day.
