Ooh, kitchen and dining room. Both mine in dire need of declutter, but it's my first day back at work for a month, and I've got a friend cOming for tea. So the best I'm going to do today is a manic half hour in each with a binbag. Will have to wait until next week for a proper clean... I hate my kitchen, it badly needs replacing and we just can't afford it right now. I moved one of the units (freestanding) into the utility a couple of weeks ago and it had "made in GDR" stamped on the back! Dates my kitchen somewhat... But it functions, which is the main point. Just can't be bothered to make the effort with it...

Morning everyone. Hope you all had a fantastic Royal Wedding Day and May Bank Holiday and didn’t get too hot or burnt. I’m up and about as my animals decided, for some reason, that I needed booting out of bed before 6am.. Yep all four of them, 2 cats and 2 dogs, landed on the bed one by one and proceeded to want cuddles etc.. So up I got and have fed all the birds outside. Mainly because they were all sitting on the fence or in various places in the garden watching and waiting for me. So I couldn’t really turn my back on them and do something else could I?

Anyway we have had the morning breakfast rush now and it is all quiet out there until Mr and Mrs Woody turn up for their feasting. Mrs Blackbird had a row with Mr Blackbird over the food on the bin lid, she wanted it after he was already settled on there. Anyway she landed on his back and he promptly flew off to the fence and stared at her while she ate.. Strange way for a husband to behave..lol One of the newly wedded robins has been down for his breakfast. He sat and watched me while I was hanging the washing out too, I even got a chirrup out of him. Bless him. Hopefully Mrs Robin will be around for a feast later.

Yikes one of the collared doves is sitting on the fence outside my French doors and is looking in at me, how weird he is.. He’s also bobbing up and down for some reason.. He looks so odd, and quite scary that close up..lol I have a new addition to the bird families – a pretty little wren has appeared. Although she is with the blue tit that pops in occasionally so I am wondering if the has paired up with him for advice on where to go for feeding. Ooh Mr or Mrs Robin is back, they are sitting in the bird house munching on the suet and mealy worms.. Oooh scary no other bird is allowed in there at the moment, there is a lot of fluffing of feathers going on.. Awww bless she or he is getting very territorial over my bird house..lol

Not sure how much flying I am going to get done today as I am still suffering from my excursion to London on Sunday. My poor D is beside himself as he didn’t realise the walk back to the car from the theatre was that long – we had to walk the long way round from The Royal Theatre along Bayswater Road to Paddington because Hyde Park was shut, otherwise we could have just walked across that as we did in the afternoon. Ugh never again, it took me an hour to walk what felt like 3 hours..and I was getting slower and slower. Now my two big toes seem to be suffering as some reason I can hardly walk or move them.. :oBit difficult when you need big toes to balance..lol I don’t think they recovered when I damaged them by falling over a few weeks ago – thought they were broken but then I wouldn’t have been able to walk. So I must have damaged them some other way.. Oh well they will get better in their own time I suppose.

But wow – the concert was absolutely fantastic. It was my first time ever going to a rock concert, and it didn’t really feel like a rock concert as such – well not in the head banging type. We were all sitting down and really rather civilised – well till the last couple of songs though. Then we all got up and danced. I was lucky as I had an end seat with no chairs in front of me, just the exit sign and the stair well. Oooh it was bliss as I could stretch out and I didn’t get too panicky with the crowds as I had the exit in my sights. Plus I wasn’t crowded in like some places can be.:):D

OMG Escala were out of this world – they are a 4 girl classical band playing weird electric instruments. They were on Britains Got Talent back in 2008 but sadly didn’t win, but since then they have won the Classical Brits awards etc.. Before then we had the West End Chorus choir singing songs from the shows, then it was the interval. And then ….. Brian May and Kerry Ellis. Well words can’t describe how it was. Fantastic, mesmerising, brilliant – absolutely stunning. And Brian May makes guitar playing look so easy. Also Roger Taylor’s son was the drummer for the band which was rather nice – it was almost like a Queen concert in the end.Apparently Roger Taylor was in the audience but sadly I didn’t see him as I didn’t fancy looking around the theatre once settled..lol Queen songs were sung as well as a couple I hadn’t heard of, plus Kerry sung from her album and a couple of songs from Wicked. She also sung a song from the group The Feeling with the lead singer from the group. It was a real surprise as no-one knew he was going to be there.. D is walking around on cloud nine now. He is a really happy bunny and so glad that he went. He last saw Queen back in 86, and he has wanted to see them again but never got the chance since Freddie Mercury died. Now he can say he has, plus he got the added bonus of actually being able to listen to Brian May playing a few solos.. But sadly I am paying for it now and I think I used all my spoons up on the day. Thankfully I won’t be doing anything like that in the near future, so I have another year before we go to the theatre again. And it was so much better with D driving up to London and not catching trains etc. I didn’t get so panicky like I do when I am on the train with D.

Anyway back to normality – lol. I have my care-worker coming out today so I have to make sure the living room and kitchen are nice and tidy etc..

Also have my STAIRWAYS group this thursday and the psychiatrist on Friday. Not looking forward to Fridays appointment as she will be changing my mood stabilisers over to anti-psychotics on a gradual dose, now I have lowered my dosage of the other tablets. Should be an interesting time as D has already noticed and mentioned that I am rollercoasting with moods again almost to the point I was at before I was diagnosed with the Bipolar..oh great!! Why can't I ever notice this.. So all in all a busy week, oh I also have kidlet duty tomorrow for my friend T. And here was me thinking that Wednesday was going to be my "quiet" day..fat chance!!

I really must sort my "Toots" list out as I keep seeing things that I want to do but keep forgetting to put it down on paper..

Welcome to the newbies, you'll love it here.

Good luck to all those that are back teaching in schools today xx
