Just put a call into CS and was told to email name/address etc details from receipt - gift card will be issued for DTD - had to go away and check though - had to wait a while to get through - I bet they are inundated!

read back a couple or few pages. so, to help me get up to speed, basically they put an ad in the sun (by mistake) saying dtd and so we think they will honour it for today only? but were waiting for them to confirm on facebook or twitter.

am i with you right?

It was actually an ad in yesterdays Sun; they say they will honour it, but not how long for. Whether it was just for yesterday, or today, or what.

Call me cynical but do you think this could be a ploy by Tesco to find those who have been 'abusing the spirit' of the promotion or getting gift cards etc?

Many people on here have been trying to fly under the radar by using clean receipts i.e. no credit/debit card and no clubcard yet you guys are all willing to phone CS and give them your name and address? I think I'll give it a pass even though last night I was all for it.

First Hello again everyone !!

And Emmamum - well done getting through, I get the busy tone - I think the Tesco staff are hiding under their desks from the cottagers again.

Did they give you an email address to send it to, I wondered if you could post it up - might save a lot of us waiting on the phones all day.
