Well, my wife is back from shopping in Tesco and we still don't know whether she'll get double the difference back. Looking at Asda.com we'd have saved loads of money going there, so I reckon that's where we'll be next week. Can't trust Tesco!!
Do we get a reply at all Tesco??
Nicolle are you there at all????

I have just been informed by tesco customer services to input your details as normal, they WILL be honoring the double the difference for those that saw the SUN yesterday, as for a time scale, the customer services assistant had no idea at this stage
just posted on facebook

never or will ever buy the sun again posted on tesco main facebook page0 -
So let me understand this latest faux pas.
I buy 2 suncreams at £9.99 each for cash £19.98.
They are £5.00 in Asda so I input the details today into the hidden pricechecker, and tomorrow I get a TD voucher for £9.98.
I e-mail Tesco CS and they then issue me a DTD cash-card for £9.98 to cover the missing DTD element.
Net result, I am left with DTD and the suncream for free.
But if Tesco refuse my 'claim' as not bought on Tuesday (as per the Sun advert date), then I only get TD and have the stuff (I need) for the same price as Asda BUT have to spend the TD voucher of £9.98 in Tesco which I really don't want, so I take back the stuff, and get a £19.98 refund instead, then go buy it for £10 in Asda and my outlay is halved.
Win-win except the cost of petrol undertaking this excercise?I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700

That's pretty much it, yes.Except I'm buying the DW tabs as it's even less and better should they not honour it. i.e. £13 outlay for £20dtd or £10td
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
