Yay!!!!!!!!!! DTD is baaaaack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(*probably :D )

I've had far too much spare time recently, this is fab news!
I am not here to moan.

After a telephone to CS, here is what they said to do. They sounded quite confident and I would definitely follow their advice.

Email customer.service@tesco.co.uk and include all details of the bottom of the receipt, name, address and telephone voucher. They said that the voucher would likely to be in the form of a 'mini card'.

A mini card? What's that then??? :rotfl:

Is your nan like mine? Buys for her and her 4 neighbours and splits it so they all get their own receipt? These old people do a hell of a lot of dish-washing though. I guess it's all the wine glasses after the wine party. :o

Have just spoken to Customer Services, woman said it was a mis print and nothing they would not issue DTD until I mentioned their Twitter response, she then left me on hold while she checked. Then she said to e mail customer services with voucher link, name and address and they would look into it...she not know if DTD would be issues just that they would 'look into it'.
Born to glitch :D

Call me cynical but do you think this could be a ploy by Tesco to find those who have been 'abusing the spirit' of the promotion or getting gift cards etc?

Many people on here have been trying to fly under the radar by using clean receipts i.e. no credit/debit card and no clubcard yet you guys are all willing to phone CS and give them your name and address? I think I'll give it a pass even though last night I was all for it.

and what do you think they can do with my name and address(does not have to be mine does it? it just need to have 'access' to)? nothing me thinks :p until I reach 100GBP I should be ok :D then it will be my sister's turn :rotfl:

I have just been informed by tesco customer services to input your details as normal, they WILL be honoring the double the difference for those that saw the SUN yesterday, as for a time scale, the customer services assistant had no idea at this stage
