I'm the official wet fish slapper( doesn't sound right that does it?)on this forum...so after all the posts and cross -posts I'm swinging one round on the end of my fishing line, so duck if you don't deserve it and take it with a smile if you do....a good slap with a wet fish brings everyone back in line....so consider it done and now everyone can move on...no more mentioning posts that have upset or irritated...anyone that does so will get another slap.....for newbies info....I often posts fishing stories on here as it is my passion...never happier than when I'm up to my waist in a fast flowing river fy-fishing...I barbel/pike and carp fish too....all the regulars are used to me now...I also love comping and a while back discovered a lot of the reg peeps on here did not enter comps...I'm trying very hard to encourage them to do so and will sometimes post comps , so the thread is a mix of all sorts of stuff...mocs/gossip/tips/comps/freebies etc...when we get out of hand Browntoa pops up and repremands us all, starts a new thread and we start all over again:D ....we have always thought this forum the best on MSE, so stay with us, join in, enjoy and don't take anything personally.....now back to Thinking Tackle with Danny Fairbrass on Discovery Shed that I've Sky plussed...and in case you didn't know I'm female and a pensioner too, for some reason my user name makes peeps think I'm male..
this is why the thread is unique- an official wet fish slapper:rotfl:and no- it doesn't sound very complimentary:rotfl:

T's is the closest for me but not happy about the 3 for £3 either. I didn't mind 2 for £2. It's still 2 for £2 at Asda so I'm buying 2 and getting the difference back together with anything else I'm getting the difference back on (malt wheats to have the milk on for one), bit of a faff but better than filling my fridge with milk.

I always freeze milk if it is not to be used for a few days

Guess you didn't do much DTD or aren't doing the Tesco Meal deal if you have room in your freezer for something as essential as milk:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Going shopping now as I have a £10 off £40 Morrisons voucher to use in Tesco before it runs out tomorrow. (local morrisons sent sheet of 6 weeks of vouchers out few weeks ago). Now that would deserve a wet fish slap if I let that go to waste.:( Please try to behave and not post anything important like new coupons till I get back:D
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Just been on the grabbit thread £4.09 tesco meal deal, and some people have got some wonderful stories about the old days of RnR, I was just wondering do the regulars have similar stories, and could you share? Pretty Please? I have asked on the other thread aswell! But I'm more of a lurker on that thread, so I'm not sure if they will!

Well............my DS had a PSP, plus free games to go with it, I had booze, meat, meat and more meat to fill my freezer, other grocery items and was DENIED an Xbox that was definately a RnR item, the store stood their ground and Consumer Direct were powerless to act on the blatant flouting of the law. But all in all it was really good while it lasted and the thread was very funny and amiable (just like the old DTD thread) full of info and helpful advice. I LOVE TESCO :D

Velvet comp seems to be working at the moment..

Surprise, Surprise I have already played today:(Guess my ip, address or name is banned from the comp.

  • I just went into Mr T's and looked for the meal deal. They have
different wine there other than the turner road. I went and picked a bottle of turner road up from the wine section and went to the woman who was on the ready meal section and asked her if the turner road was included in the meal deal she looked at her list and said no it was only the wine that was out. I showed her that the turner road was on the meal deal offer on the internet and she said well if you order the deal off there you will get the turner road.

So Question. If I order 5 meal deals with turner road and I input the £10 off voucher code that they sent me, when I input the receipt into the pricecheck will it take into account my £10 off?
