different wine there other than the turner road. I went and picked a bottle of turner road up from the wine section and went to the woman who was on the ready meal section and asked her if the turner road was included in the meal deal she looked at her list and said no it was only the wine that was out. I showed her that the turner road was on the meal deal offer on the internet and she said well if you order the deal off there you will get the turner road.
So Question. If I order 5 meal deals with turner road and I input the £10 off voucher code that they sent me, when I input the receipt into the pricecheck will it take into account my £10 off?
I don't know about the £10 off but the maximum for just the difference voucher is £20. In store 3 meal deals get you abut £18 which is under the threshhold of £20. Even if you buy 5 you'll only get £20 back.
The staff in store don't really know what the offers are, Turner Road hasn't been in the cabinet (until yesterday) at my store but I've bought it with the meal deal and it's worked fine more than once. The only way to be sure if something will or won't work it take it through the tills and be prepared to find you've forgotten your purse if it doesn't work and tell them to put the shopping back. It's not embarssing when you know you haven't forgotten it really. I take my purse out of my back and just stick a credit card or a bit of money in my bag so if everything is ok I can pay.0 -

Bad day - went to pick up washing machine, drove 45 mins to get there to find she'd given it to somone else n not bothered to phone me and tell me - and when i'm feeling really poorly i could've done without that!
Re velvet - if anyone is still playing and doesn't have a barcode i have quite a few so carry on playing and if you win big i'll send you a barcode (if you haven't got a receipt pop out and buy a pack of 4 rolls so that you get the receipt as they may reject your claim if you use one of my receipts saying the product was bought in cambridgeshire and you live in another county).
Not a coupon but for any dog owners on here Bakers treats are 2 for £2 in sainsburys at the mo - the individual prices start at £1.47 and also included are the Dental Delicious chicken large which are £2.06 a pack but you still get 2 packs for £2.
Generous offer Dawnie, but can I just suggest people wait to play until they have a receipt, as the receipt must be dated before the time you play....if you win you must send in the barcode, preferably more of the wrapper than less these days but at least showing the red arrow , this
was only on promo packs, together with you receipt and the printed out claim form.....I have been claiming with the whole wrapper post ' letter'.0 -
this is what i've got so far....
Thank you for your further email.
Please accept my very sincere apologies as it does appear that there has been conflicting information regarding the acceptance of these vouchers and the process being carried out at the store.
I'm looking into this further for you and as soon as I have any more information I'll contact you again.
Thank you for your patience and for making me aware of this.
just as well i'm not under water waiting on the response....
right! have FINALLY caught up, just giving you a wee update, I still have NO 'further information' on my Tesco ordeal, I did e-mail her yesterday...no response do you think 2 1/2 days is an acceptable amount of time to receive a response? hopefully she will update me on monday!! (or tues, is it a bank holiday??) ANYWAY....onto more positive news, after filling out the 'how did we do' survey on tesco i got a call back from CS asking about the service specifically of the CS adviser i said she was very good and really tried to help me, however Tesco was still getting a very negative response from me as a whole due to the whole palava!! THEN the customer service manager called me and said she was very sorry they hadn't accepted my fairy MOC and is sending me a £10 tesco voucher...result! I went to Tesco getting my shopping down from £52- £44 now looking at it i thought this isn't right...I had bought the whiskas 48s using my MOC, now it does not say what size so I bought the 48s guessing it would only give me £1.93 off (and not 50% off £13.24 but thought, hey if it doesn't i'll go to CS and get my money back.... so it didn't, off i trott to cs who got the duty manager (i am popular) who wanted to see the voucher, grand i say off you pop.... comes back and says yup i think your right, doesn't specify size so we'll give you 1/2 your money bqack...so they did (but remember i'd already had £1.93 taken off my bill so 48 whiskas for £4.77 did feel a little bit naughty!!!0 -
So I went into tesco this evening afternoon to go get something to eat for this evening, an thought I' try wombling again. My first attempt proved unsuccessful, but this time I got 17 reciepts!!!
Just put 3 of them into price checer, fingers crossed. Even if they all come back with nothing, 5 of the reciepts didn't have the clubcard points collected totalling over 300 points. Tesco site I can only have 2 reciepts added to my clubcard in 14 days. can any one confirm. Also are they usually ok crediting you account? Plus one had a credit card used will this be a problem?
Thanks0 -

Any MOCs etc aren't taken into account when they work out your RTD, it is just the price you paid for each item after multibuys etc have been taken into account2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book0 -

They all scanned in - I bought all the products- and when I checked my receipt - the coupons had all been cancelled. Apparently the manager has decided not to accept them in future. So, I have lost my coupons - they are in the till - so can't use them elsewhere- and I have expensive items that I would not have bought at full price. Supervisor said call customer services - which I will do - tomorrow. Has anyone found that Sainsburys don't accept internet coupons.
Thats terrible
I would have wanted all the coupons back and i would have asked for all the items that i would have bought with the coupons to be refunded.
If the coupons are in the till then they can be claimed back from the manufacturer and it would be the shop that benefits instead of the customer. If that happens (im not saying that it would) i can`t imagine that it would be legal.
Instead i would be emailling customer services rather than phoning as i would want a record of what they actually say, it does say on some coupons that they can be declined by the shop but i imagine that they must return them to you so that they can be spent elsewhere.
I hope that they rest of your day turned out better, keep us posted as to any developments, i for one would be very interested.

In Sainsbury's today I picked up an "Everyday Easy" magazine - looks like their version of the tesco or asda magazine, and says it's the first issue. I didn't actually see them anywhere around the shop, one had just been left in a basket! Couple of things that might be of interest to people:
- 50p off Bombardier (500ml) or Bombardier Burning Gold (500ml) valid until 31.08.11 (page 34)
- A code for £10 off when you spend £50 on your first online grocery shop valid on orders delivered by 29 June 2011 (page 50)
- A code for £10 off when you spend £50 on non-food products online valid until 29.06.11 (page 50)
PM me if you would like either of the voucher codes! Can only use each one once per customer, and only one voucher per order, hth!
Just noticed another voucher code... seven days free membership of Sainsbury's Diets. And if you join up properly within those seven days they'll give you 100 nectar points for every week you remain a member2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book0 -
The biggest tip is to take a trolley on wheels so you can fill it full of the books you get when you go in which are full of coupons. There are at least 2 entrances they stand at giving them out and we usually go through each one loadsa times and ask for a few books if they only give one or two. Then near the end of the day go back and hopefully they will let you do what they did with us in Nov and help yourself to as many as you can carry (283:D). There is also lots of coupons on stands especially Wall's Carte D'Or Ice cream stand where there is lots of ice cream and sweet stuff to eat. Other stands have cheese and things to eat plus wine, whisky etc to drink but only little samples, but you can get as many as you want.
The Olive and Good food magazines have a stand giving a great free gift if you sign up, so do that and then just cancel the dd when you get home;). I have done this twice now and have had no problem cancelling.
You will probably get enough samples to last you for lunch but def not enough to fill you up for the day. I would take drinks with you water/cans etc as they are expensive to buy and there are no free samples.
There is a weatherspoons pub next door to the exhibition where you can get the usual meals/food there and the drinks etc are similiar to normal weathrspoons prices.
Any other questions just ask. What day are you going and have you got your tickets? Tickets are cheap if you buy them after 1pm (think, could be 12), either half price or less, Mad might remember as he bought one last year. If you have enough points you can get tickets with your Tesco clubcard points.

My Tesco have a sign at CS which says you can add points within 14 days and only two per day. I don't have a problem usually, I just blame my husband for not using "our" clubcard, and then tsk, men eh? and then we both laugh (fake). Points added! Turn back walk away and fake smile for CS benefit erased from face! Job done!
My card I use for "wombled finds" (so far this quarter 732 in a couple of weeks), OH card is used for non r-t-d purchases and for any extra points items.
I know many people on here advise against asking for the points to be credited from a receipt where a debit/credit card has been used. Personally I look at each one on its own merits and make my own judgment. Ive had points added on from a receipt paid for with a credit card and have had no repurcussions, but I guess its personal choice and each to their own. That said, I seemingly, accordingly to DD2, have reached an all-time-low already for wombling in the first place so in for a penny...
My Asda today had litter-picking-chaps - each frantically trying to outgrab each other with receipts/rubbish using their plastic handed snappers - one at each end working in, I just aimed for the middle and picked up 12! A good womble is forever resourceful!Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x0
