we tried seperate threads (one for moc's and one for chat) it just didn't work.
We all voted for the thread to be amalgamated into one. It really is so much easier and does work.
There have been a lot of newbies posting recently in the aftermath of dtd. So there are some repetitive questions but that aint no great shakes.
People don't need to sift through posts......
M4rtin does a sterling job by letting us and is know when moc's have ended.
Type your moc finds in blue and they magically appear on the first page.:rotfl::rotfl:
    Thanks again idlesaver:a:a:t:t:t:t

~if people only want moc's just go to the front page~
i too, may have missed out big time if the dtd wasn't posted and discussed on here in the first place:eek:
I like the competitions that bully and others post (apart from the velvet one )

if people need to come on here for virtual hugs or just to chat they are more than welcome:a:a
oh yea and for tea tonight mad is having a rustler's with freshly chopped tomatoes:cool:

I am not going to comment on these posts, but just want to say, I know some people go through threads thanking every post, regardless of if they found it useful or not, because for them that is their placemark.

They know that any posts after they have stopped thanking are new ones they have not yet read.

I have seen this on another thread, where a really bad post was thanked by someone I know, and no one else was thanking this post. The MSEr told me they weren't thanking the poster, but they just went through thanking posts so they knew where they had read upto.

Wrong or right - something some people do. So please be aware that even though it looks like these posts have a thanks count, it may not be that at all.

I like to thank people for posting their opinion - it may not be the same as mine but they have taken the trouble to post. I do use the thanks button as a placemarker but I try not to thank posts that I feel are not appropriate. :)

i use the thanks button to thank someone, and kinda use it as a 'like' button (as in facebook), if someone has said something i like :D
