I'm the official wet fish slapper( doesn't sound right that does it?)on this forum...so after all the posts and cross -posts I'm swinging one round on the end of my fishing line, so duck if you don't deserve it and take it with a smile if you do....a good slap with a wet fish brings everyone back in line....so consider it done and now everyone can move on...no more mentioning posts that have upset or irritated...anyone that does so will get another slap.....for newbies info....I often posts fishing stories on here as it is my passion...never happier than when I'm up to my waist in a fast flowing river fy-fishing...I barbel/pike and carp fish too....all the regulars are used to me now...I also love comping and a while back discovered a lot of the reg peeps on here did not enter comps...I'm trying very hard to encourage them to do so and will sometimes post comps , so the thread is a mix of all sorts of stuff...mocs/gossip/tips/comps/freebies etc...when we get out of hand Browntoa pops up and repremands us all, starts a new thread and we start all over again:D ....we have always thought this forum the best on MSE, so stay with us, join in, enjoy and don't take anything personally.....now back to Thinking Tackle with Danny Fairbrass on Discovery Shed that I've Sky plussed...and in case you didn't know I'm female and a pensioner too, for some reason my user name makes peeps think I'm male..

Well said Gill. This is a cracking forum. I did really well on the DTD thread but now that DTD is dead in the water I've come on here and have really gone a long way towards reducing my shopping bill. Only cause for well-being if you ask me. :j
