20,000 step a day challenge0 -
A UU (well a throw out
) Boots Expert moisturising soap when I got to the small square inch square soap it went in the bin. It was bought during a Boots GWP promo a few years ago :cool:WMBA worked ok and and not expensive. Has opened a Boots Cranberry soap part of a Christmas set.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

I have succumbed and ordered from Boots online but I do need everything that I've ordered:-
Weleda Almond cleanser - I confess that I do have Elemis cleansers in my stash but nothing is doing the job well. I've still not found an alternative to LE C&P since they removed the almond milk from it. This cleanser contains almond oil so I'm hoping it will do the same job.
Botanics Rosewater toner - I have emptied the last of my LE Instant Boost skin Tonic into my 30ml spritzer bottle so will need some soon.
Carex nail lacquer remover - this is down to the last dregs
Botanics Clarifying Clay Mask - am hoping this will be an improvement on the Superdrug one we have and as good as the Decleor one I love.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi folks, I know I shouldn't be admitting to buying stuff on here but I wanted to be cheeky and take advantage of your immense combined knowledge of all things toiletries!
I tried the Thierry Mugler Angel summer edition (lol, I just typed 'Angler') last year and really liked it. My usual summer perfume has gone off and Boots is running an offer I can't refuse.
I was wondering:
1. does the Angel summer edition change each year or does it stay the same?
2. is Boots still giving out a £5 off summer perfume voucher when you spend £5? If so, anyone know if it includes the Thierry Mugler Angel summer scent?
Thanks in advance. I hope you're all doing well.I'm still doing my darndest to stick to the challenge (the perfume excepted, natch
).

Oh no Rosemary!!
We have had similar issues at my uni, if you submit just a paper copy nothing is said, its only when you have to submit an electronic copy that they start questionning. It runs the assignment through the internet looking for direct quotes, and gives back a figure of how much % is "plagiarised", if it's above a certain amount, they start investigating, one of my friends knows someone whose assignment was 100%!!
But it's ridiculous that no-one has said anything before, yet now they're complaining!!
I'm not in a good mood today however, it seems pretty trivial in comparison =s_pale_
I was just jumping out of the shower, drying and getting dressed etc, and I've just noticed the beginning of stretch marks accross my stomach!!! I'm not exactly small, and have silvery stretch marks pretty much everywhere else (they used to be purple but I lost abit of weight), but I've never had them on my stomach  And now I'm stressing as my dissertation is due next week (do I dont have time to eat properly, hence the weight gain) and I dont have time to go to the gym as often as I'd like =[ This is a big thing for me as my self-confidence about my weight has been in negative figures for pretty much my entire life, and it doesnt appear to shed without starving myself ='[ :wall:
I'm so upset atm =[

:grouphug:
Hugs to you Alanis. Try to focus on your dissertation and next week, when that is out the way you will be free to get back on track with your meal planning and gym time. You are almost there so try not to be too hard on yourself at the moment.
Happy Birthday Sofababe xx
I have an IN to report...a freebie Maybelline mascara - full size too from the facebook page.
OT - I also got my freebie Ben & Jerry's fair-trade cotton shopper bag this morning and it is so cute!!
I am not long in from the Ideal Home Show today (free tickets) and was very well behaved despite one of the halls being hijacked by health and beauty stalls and demonstrations. I was not expecting that at the Ideal Home Show!!! I only bought some tasty strawberry and rhubarb jam and some cheese. Yum Yum
EDIT - Also forgot to mention my Elemis SOS spot cream is almost done. I think I have only one more application left in it.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Hi everyone
Happy birthday sofababe - hope you have had a fab one so far!Hi bev, have you ever tried Laura Geller Spackle? I'm using the Smashbox one at the moment. Am on my second bottle of it. The pump on my first bottle stopped working part way up and I know this was a problem that Smashbox said they had addressed. My second bottle seems to be going the same way (I bought it inflight on the way to Egypt in October so there's no way of knowing whether it is an older version or not). I'm considering trying the Spackle at some stage and just wondered if you had tried it.
Guy Meets Galvaston is lovely but I prefer Houston we have a Purple from the recent TSV. Even Like YDKJ.
I put the Houston we have a purple on last night. When I first tried it I put the silver shattercoat on aswell but I think I needed to put on a thinner coat as it was all silver and no purple. :rotfl:Anyway just have the purple shade on now on its own and love it -still using the nail envy but still find myself wanting to bite my nails though - such a bad habit but haven't yet -nails and polish still intact:T0 -

My colour was Medium Copper Brown and my first reaction was to think it was a lot redder than I expected but looking at the box I'd say the colour was pretty true to the picture actually. It was easy to use, easily enough for my thick shoulder length hair, and best of all it didn't stain my scalp at all which in my experience is extremely unusual. WIBA? - yes, I would. In fact, I'm looking forward to trying some other colours too!
i spotted these in the book this week and was wondering what they would be like, i may just get some though it won't help me on my net reduction of 50 products by my next birthday.0 -
My DD paid for me to have.......a FISH PEDICURE!!!!!! :j:j:j
It was lovely and my feet feel amazing, I'm supposed to be going out tonite but I don't want to have to put shoes on and spoil me lovely feet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thank you for your birthday good wishes, u are all such lovely folk on this thread :heartsmil
happy birthday, hope i'm not too late, just haven't been on the boards for most of the last week.
My sister had got me a voucher for a fish pedicure and i can't wait to have it done.
Talking about feet i've suddenly got a crack up the side of one of mine, so i've obviously been ignoring them. I changed my ways last night and used my cheese grater style file and got OH to rub my Virgin Vie mint condition lotion on them. It's almost at spluttering stage which is fab as i have quite a few others to finish. It does feel absolutely freezing when it first hits your skin, a bit of a shock sometimes.0 -
I'm always neglecting my feet. Every once in a while I think I'll make a big effort but the tending to them wanes. I had a fish pedicure around about Easter time and after that started applying lotion again but this has gone by the wayside.
I had a horrible dream last night that my toe nail came off again and that made me think I should look after them again then I came on here and two people have been talking about their feet. Must be signs!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
