Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Debt-free and Proud!
    edited 27 May 2011 at 1:03PM
My INS arrived today, the Next Diamond perfume and body lotion bargain at 4.50 and it does smell very simular to Miss Dior:money:Thanks very much for telling me:)

Ops forgot my UU, Lush let them eat cake lipbalm
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • So sorry Rosemary, hope everything goes well for your son. As you say, if the way he references things was a problem they should really have picked up on this before now.

My Breakfast Scrub is spluttering - will hopefully have another UU before May is out!

    Hi everyone

rosemary - hope things are sorted out quickly for your son at Uni -as if the 3rd year isn't stressful enough!

rachel84 -hope your Mum's op goes OK ((((((((hugs))))))))

A UU:j - Arran Aromatics grapefruit bath and shower gel 300ml. WIBA?
No I don't think so as although I love the smell of grapefruit I like a change and it took ages to get through a 300ml bottle. It was a good quality product though and did not dry out my skin and lathered really well.

Spluttering - Akin hand cream, L'occitane Rose Nuit De Mai body lotion and also the Liz earle superbalm is :Tnearly all gone.
Also wearing my new OPI guy meets gal-veston colour -love it!

I've not posted much this month because I've been busy with exams :( so I thought I would do one long post at the end of the month:D

my INs this month have been: naked cocoa butter x2, natural collection mascara, avon face masks x2 and eyeshadow. Oh and an unexpected in today: maybelline mascara (from that beauty survey I think) which gives me a total spend of: £6.88 :j (but I'm ashamed to say I have already put in an order for some more avon stuff which I will confess to when they come next month :o)

but I have had a lot of UU as well:j:
Dove soap: WBA- the only soap that doesn’t dry my skin out
    BS passionfruit cleanser: WBA
Ck one shower gel: WNBA- nice, summery smell but nothing special
Johnson’s lip balm: WBA-possibly my HG lipbalm, really thick and soothing
Avon sss shower gel: WBA- really cheap and quite moisturising
Lush t’eo deodorant: WNBA- a generous sample but I think I’ll stick to sure
fcuk pure scrub: WNBA- I’m not sure I would repurchase any scrubs after I have finished my stash. This was okay, did the job but I didn’t like the smell- it was meant to be ginger but smelt of celery
Fairy tail sugar scrub: WNBA- a nice scrub that smell (faintly) of yummy yummy but I could easily make it at home
Fcuk polished body spray: WBA- much prefer the smell of the polished range to the pure. Smells nice and sweet/fruity and I have 2 more in the stash!
Sample BS peppermint leg gel: WNBA- didn’t really do much but smelt nice and minty
Sample love etc body butter: WBA- I love all of the BS butters and I really liked the smell of this one. Might get the love etc. Solid perfume when I’ve used some more perfumes!
Sample nutmeg and vanilla body butter: WBA- like some others here, I love love the smell of this. Will buy again in the Christmas sale (when I’m hoping I have finished the stash!)
Avon signature silk lotion: WNBA- made my skin really smooth but sticky and took a while to sink in. I think I’m on the butter side of the debate; lotions are too runny and cold!
Sure deodorant: WBA- the only thing that works in the summer but I have lots of roll ons to finish first. Might also try mitchum as it has been recommended on here
Botanics bath elixir: WNBA- nothing special and smelt too herby
BS clear lipgloss: WNBA- not much different to any other lipgloss and the packaging meant it leaked everywhere!
Vaseline deodorant: WNBA- didn’t do a good job and I prefer sure
Almond oil: WBA- I’ve been using this for oil cleansing and honestly my skin is looking clearer and feeling softer, I think the muslin cloth also helps as those annoying bumps around my nose have gone!
Clinique DD lotion: WNBA- didn’t suit my skin as it felt really heavy. I much prefer nivea soft or johnson’s day cream which are lighter and a lot cheaper!
I think my stash is now about 80% things I really like so they will be LHJ:rotfl:The only thing spluttering is curious perfume which has a couple of days left in it.

Sorry for the long rambly post, hope everyone is okay :)(haven't had time to read all those pages!)

Rosemary I'm sure he already has done this but his student union should be offering help and advice, they have officers to give advice on all sort of things and should be able to offer support.

I have an out - sold the dramatically different moisturising lotion from the Clinique/Glamour freebies for £2 so what I paid - I started the moisture surge first and I love it. When my mini is finished I will look at getting this although no spf so not sure.

I have a never ending bottle of S&G hand food on my desk. I use it every day several times a day and it never seems to go down - have even taken the label off so I can see if it's going down easier!

Other than that no ins or outs here atm - happy pampering everyone.

Unexpecte in today - a jiffy bag full of olay samples popped through the letterbox today. No letter explaining, just samples.

There's eye pods, three point serum and wrinkle filler. Haven't tried htis range before, anyone recommend?

ETA - ooh look, I'm not a newbie anymore, I got a little star :)

    Hello ladies,

Firstly a question posed by my friend, and I vaguely remember a recommendation here for Rimmel or Maybelline product. She's after a face primer which evens skin tone and is helps makeup last longer. Any suggestions please?

    UUs
Bath Bombe Lavandilly - WIBA: No. Not a fan of most bath bombs, and found this hiding in my room in a set of 3 (2 to go still), given to me for babysitting years ago (I know it's at least 9 years, as the girl I babysat is now at uni ) It was ok - probably would have been lovely had I used it back then. But it smelt ok and fizzed ok.
S&G Flakeaway (the marmite of this thread!!) - WIBA? Maybe, but going to use the Breakfast Scrub next so will see how it compares.

    INs (all zero spend)
Anna Sui Night of Fancy Shower Gel 300ml - given to me by my sister as she used most of my Anna Sui Secret Wish Magic Romance shower gel and I was a bit upset about it (prior to joining this challenge)
Hugo Boss XX Shower Gel - same as above.

So in one week I have received three shower gel/cream products from her!! Guess I'd better get showering

Mingle I hope your exam went well.

Rosemary that is stressful to say the least, I hope it gets resolved soon

    Bev - no picture??

    Hugs to everybody.

    xx

Just a quickie - Jacks was too modest to mention her absolutely corking reply in the Thank Abuse! thread but I have duly thanked her - don't let her go unthanked!! https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3239294

Oh bless you honey! I had a little late night ramble before bed. :o:o:o :T

Rosemary, I was going to ask if the Student reps can do anything. I do think it's a bit late in the day to tell him he's been doing it wrong for three bliddy years! Where have his tutors been all this time?

I have UUs but I'll report them properly them tomorrow. (famous last words.)

Have a good weekend all. :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls
