Trudij Red is absolutely gorgeous
I used to love spending time with the horse I used to ride (when I was young). His/Her name was Pasha. So beautiful. It's awful that I can't remember whether it was a his or her though
Ma-ri-ella I've thrown the bottle away, so will see if can find the number on my account. I'm trying to reduce my face washes as I much prefer cleansers you wipe off. When I've used the Sanctuary one (which only needs a tiny amount to be used) I'm looking forward to using a Clarins one I have in the stash. I think that's the last one then.
I bought some double faced cotton wool pads in B**ts yesterday. I don't count them as ins as I never count them in my outsBut they were 2 for £2.50 which was good, as last time I bought them on a 2 for x.xx offer, the double faced ones were 2 for £3, when the normal ones were still 2 for £2.50
Splutterers: EL Idealist Serum (my HG serum), can't remember the other one.
It has been a bit quiet recently on the thread. When I have no time it's chatty as anything and it takes ages to catch up. When I have time it's the opposite. Are you guys trying to drop me hints??:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've found recently the skin just by my ears has been really dry. I think it was by not washing the face wash off properly from that area (I've been lax with toner usage recentlyFeels ok today, but it's been so dry past few days when I itch the skin peels off
Sorry if it's TMI. Rest of my face has been fine though.
Does anybody else have difficulties parting with their stash or is it just me?
Also, my hard to use products are definitely hair styling products. Hardly use them so that's why. Been trying to use a John Frieda straightening potion thing I've had for years (yet I still bought 2x the 3 day straight), but always feels the same weight
Once I'm done I'm just sticking to putting coconut oil on my hair I think.
Jacksxxx, with Superdrug being in the news recently with their new beautycard I keep remembering your 'showdown' :rotfl:
Rosemary and Bev, I hope you're both ok and things are better with your DHs. Lots of hugs.
Hugs to anybody who needs one, or just wants one. It's a beautiful day in London today. I'm trying to be optimistic which should be easier when it's sunny but is in fact harder as I remember lots of lovely times in the sun. But hey, I'll just spend the time painting my nails beautiful colours
ETA: Re: Batiste dry shampoo I think somebody posted it was available for £1.19, SD maybe? I might need to get some. Went to use my James Brown one today, couldn't find it, then remembered posting that it was a UU. The benefits of this thread!! Otherwise I'd have spent ages looking for it not remembering it was finishedGave one to my sister which she doesn't use. Thought about asking to have it (and admittedly did look in her cupboard to take it-but it wasn't there) but thought I'll buy another for myself today. Also, which scent is nice/awful please?

Hiya
No UU's to report, but jumping in the bath shortly, so will use more goodies..... I'm having the afternoon/evening on my own with hubby as its our 12th wedding anniversary tomorrow. so kids going to be spoilt at grannies.....
We dont know what to do, we were planning on going for a meal, but then my brother decided to do a bbq for my nephew's 16th birthday, so we really have to go there..... might just get ready and have a walk round a few pubs then walk up to the bbq..... nothing exciting, but looking forward to having hubby to myself (soft I know)
No doubt i'll be suffering all day tomorrow though....
Sawan - I didn't like Cadogan Square, I ended up putting it on ebay, much prefer Jermyn Street...... Like the Fulham Road though
Trudi - Red is beautiful..... Hope you have fun on your date....
I've three can's of Batiste free to a good home if anyone wants them??? Just PM me.....
the local paper has a £5 voucher for BS..... Needs using by tomorrow though, so looks like i'll have to miss this one :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you all have lovely weekends....Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:

Ames100 - For me prior to starting the challenge (Oct last year) I couldn't shift the body lotions and body butters because I didn't use them. I had accumulated them through gift sets. I had thought that that was the worst offending area too but after starting the challenge I was overwhelmed by the amount of unused premium facial products that I had paid full wack for (prior to :money:). Especially as a lot of it did not suit my skin :eek:. Passing these on to friends and family did make me popular though :rotfl:
Now I would say that with both my facial and body lotion piles reduced significantly (recently had to buy some of both through glitches, mega reductions, offers etc) I am a mission to use some of my shampoo and conditioners. This will take some doing.
I am also going to add in eye shadows too. I didn't think I had that many but they last forever to UU. 8 months on the challenge and I have only UU 1 - and I wore it almost every day
Pickle - I see some Batiste in Home Bargains for £1.49 full size. It was the pink one and the yellow one. [Edit - I see TONT has already suggested this one]
I plan on relaxing all day today - haven't made any plans as work has been crazy the last few days. So I am going to pamper myself as a reward for my hard work.
Facial, PYON and possibly a bath
I will report back on my selection of nail pollish.

Ames - I struggle to use up make up, I don't wear a lot of make up these days so it's very slow going. Moisturisers I do use but have so much it's a bit discouraging.
2 more ins after yesterday's haul. In Waitrose the John Freida range is 2 for £7.50 so I got a conditioner (my only one is about half full ATM and a spray gel (which I don't have so it's technically not a stash if I only have one in use)

:rotfl:Hello!
It's a lovely day in sunny Essex today too.....hugs to you Sawan, you are doing well....time is a great healer...men can be such pigs.
Got back from Bath last night, it was such a nice break. We were given a nice room overlooking the water, with ducks swimming past. The town is delightful, love the shops, the buskers, and the sun was sort of shining most of the time. I suggested trying some new and lovely restaurant - he wanted a flipping Wetherspoons curry!!!!
The Spa was lush, really relaxing. I managed to teach my boyf what UU is but now he is totally over-using it for everything LOL as he thinks it's so funny!
Read a few posts from his i phone but didn't want to log in from it so here's a group TY for you posts!
UU's - S&G face wipes - WIBA - hmm, probably not - a John Frieda sprial style hair product and some other minis that I have totally forgotton now. BF was amazed at HOW LITTLE toiletries I had taken - in fact he hadn't packed hardly ANY because he was relying on me, so we actually ended up with only just about enough!:rotfl:We went through Debenhams and BS to top up on a few products during the days :rotfl::rotfl:
Feeling a bit down now I'm home - been playing with the cats to try and cheer us all up. Usually I would go shopping to pick myself up but that has to stop....
Whilst I was away my cleaner started, so I'm posh like - is it McCulloch (?) now or Sarah (?) - memory fails me. Actually it's my sister who is currently out of work so came to cat sit and put the hoover round, but she did a great job. Hopefully she will find some work soon and ditto everyone on this thread who is job hunting....although be prepared to be miserable even when you find work - if you are old enough to remember the Smiths and the song Heaven Knows I'm miserable now!!
Have I missed the pamper parties lately? I am thinking I may treat myself tonight as i bought NO toiletries in Bath. After GLEE of course!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
How beautiful is Red and how gorgeous will her foal be
I do like Horses (as a concept) but I sort of 'lost' my Mum to horses when I was a young teen and never really got her full attention back so they annoy me too
what are your hard to use up items ?mcculloch29 wrote: »An Avon hairspray that I have had for c. 10 years (!)
It's hair styling products and make-up for meI'm still using the same can of hairsprayand the same blusher/bronzer I bought for my 'wedding face and hair' 5 years ago
:rotfl: I should probably bin them
Ladies, I could really use some Baptiste dry shampoo. Not meaning to tempt any of the rest of you, but anyone know of any good offers anywhere?
The £1.19 offer in SD seems to be in random stores - I've seen (and bought) it at that price but I remember someone else posting that the offer wasn't in their local SDIt's always £1.49ish in Home Bargains though
[OffTopic]: (sorry)
Are any of you ladies BzzAgents? I'm doing my first trial for them and they've sent me some vouchers for Benecol. I'm testing their 'Buttery Spread'. OH has turned his nose up a bit (it's not Lurpack :rotfl:) but it tastes OK to me (if you can call four slices of toast just OK ) it's very buttery - and good on toast
[/OffTopic]
A couple of UU's:
James Brown Volumising Shampoo: WIBA? No! It barely kept my hair clean for 24 hours and I don't like to have to wash my hair everyday
NSpa Strawberry Kisses Bubbly Bath: WIBA? No - the smell is too strong for me - very overwhelming. I had 3 of these (500ml) but the other 2 have gone into the charity box.
BS Shea Body Butter: WIBA? In a sale yesThis was the GWP from MC - I have others I prefer and more in my stash to use yet
We're finally off on our hols on Monday - seems to have taken ages to get here. I'm looking forward to the holiday but not the 3 hours on a train with 2 dogs  :rotfl:0 -
Evening all - will catch up in a bit. Had a somewhat random day my mum text me this morning to say they had got me a new phone and contract, so she bought that up this afternoon and we all went out for lunch. Phone isnt bad but definatly somewhat challenging to use as its part touchscreen, despite saying that was not what i wanted-man in the store apparently told them it didnt have to be used as a touchscreen phone which really isnt the case as it has no buttons to scroll etc which means i spend half my time ending up clicking on things i dont want to - im grateful though even if i dont sound it im sure ill figure it out one dayMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

I bought some on 3for2 in Boots this week. No better than SJP's kind offer though!
Bought myself the Zumba game for the Wii yesterday and My Fitness Coach Get in Shape. Did the Zumba this morning. Really enjoyed it but have a long way to go cos I was sweating just doing the tutorials! Another 2lbs lost this week so very happy.
Am going to see Pirates of The Caribbean tomorrow and having Nandos after.
Only beauty product I have bought this week is cotton pads. Have a couple of splutterers but they will probably still go on for a week I think.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Got a lot of catching up to do, but I fear I wont be able to as my dissertation is due soon and effectively I only have about 2 days to work on it as I'm on placement during the week
One of my group rang me today and asked how much individual work I had done (we have 3,000 words each to do), when I said I hadnt touched it she almost blew a gasket! Not angry, but worried, she said "Aren't you panicking?!" and I replied "Uhhm... I'm abit worried, but I havent reached the point where it's motivating me to do the work" =s lol she then texted me saying she was panicking for me, lol, bless her.
I think I just caught the end of a conversation about horses? I LOOOOVVEE horses, I ride an hour a week and have been riding for 12 years now. My mate at uni, his mom owns a horse, but she cant ride due to a # vertebra, and so when I can, I go out with his dad to see the horse (havent yet ridden it as the saddle wouldnt do up, so I just sat on im bare back, lol). But seriously, you dont understand how much I love horses, it's my obsession. I want to work with them, I want a stable in my backgarden when I move out. I would quite happily work for just bread and board at a stables!!
Anyway, sorry hat was all off-topic, I shall be back abit later with some ontopic stuff
