Jacksxxx - what's this Yes to tomatoes range? Never heard of it and it's sounds a bit odd, can't imagine what it'd smell like.
Here you go hon, It doesn't smell of much reallly, a little bit fruity and a litle bit spicy, but mostly it just smells like shower gel!
http://www.biggreensmile.com/brands/yes-to-tomatoes.aspx?brand=Yes%20to%20TomatoesI bought some on 3for2 in Boots this week. No better than SJP's kind offer though!
Bought myself the Zumba game for the Wii yesterday and My Fitness Coach Get in Shape. Did the Zumba this morning. Really enjoyed it but have a long way to go cos I was sweating just doing the tutorials! Another 2lbs lost this week so very happy.
Am going to see Pirates of The Caribbean tomorrow and having Nandos after.
Only beauty product I have bought this week is cotton pads. Have a couple of splutterers but they will probably still go on for a week I think.
Mmmm Nandos. I've never been but I really fancy it.:D I hope the film was good. I've got Zumba for the Wii and it is really hard work! I love it though, I can't wait until I get good at it.
P.S. Gorgeous horsey Trudij! Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

Oooh do let us know what the film is like - I heard it's 2 hours 40 long....
I think I just caught the end of a conversation about horses? I LOOOOVVEE horses, I ride an hour a week and have been riding for 12 years now. My mate at uni, his mom owns a horse, but she cant ride due to a # vertebra, and so when I can, I go out with his dad to see the horse (havent yet ridden it as the saddle wouldnt do up, so I just sat on im bare back, lol). But seriously, you dont understand how much I love horses, it's my obsession. I want to work with them, I want a stable in my backgarden when I move out. I would quite happily work for just bread and board at a stables!! xxx
Unfortunately the stable owners know this and take advantage of it in a big way. My sister left her city job to go and work at a local stables for minimum wage. She loved it at first, then they just took the mickey - always calling her on days off, treating her like crap because they knew how much she wanted to work there. What was once a hobby lost it's shine. They employed loads of Polish workers and crammed them all to live in this tiny cottage. She still has her horse but has left that job now and he's her hobby again....
If you want to do this as a profession, try and get a proper qualification and do something other than mucking out as it doesn't seem to lead anywhere in many cases.
Goodness, right OT, sorry - now, I have loads of BS sample pots - any ideas what to do with them? I mean, I must have about 10!! I guese one or 2 would be useful but I've hoarded (as usual, LOL!!)
Hope you're all having a great weekend.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

I'm using a couple as travel pots for serum in my travel kit - and for those little bits left over when you cut open a tube..... but don't know what I'd do with 10 :rotfl: Teaspoons of sweetener for your handbag?? :rotfl:

Oh no, here I am again, taking yet ANOTHER break from disso =[juliebunny wrote: »Unfortunately the stable owners know this and take advantage of it in a big way. Unfortunately =[
I did my work experience at my stables when I was about 13ish, 2 weeks worth, I really enjoyed it, but it was very hard work. Luckily I got £20 at the end of the 2 weeks which I thought was really nice as they didnt have to give me anything 'coz it was work experience.
But you're right, I wouldnt want to be a stable-hand as my main source of income.
My current uni course is physiotherapy, but thats only a stepping stone to get into vetinary physiotherapy =] I want to specialise in horses, its what I've wanted to do since I was 8  so I chose all my GSCEs, AS and A-levels appropriately. Luckily at GCSE level all the subjects I needed were my core's so I chose to do some fun ones too =] That all ended at AS level thoughlol

On my trip over last week I picked up my first set of Invisalign aligners. Has anyone else had this treatment? It's taking a bit of getting used to, especially the horrible taste (and smell) I have in my mouth and the strange sensatiion when eating. I will be getting through toothpaste etc mega fast now, just as well I don't count them in with my toiletries or else I'd be having a lot of INs.
But hopefully, in about a year, I should look like this
Have a good weekend
The Partner is having this done, he picks up his first tray on Thrusday hopefully. I personally dont see anything wrong with his teeth, but he thinks he has a massive overbite and wonky teeth =s As part of the deal, he gets teeth whitening too, [STRIKE]which I tried to persuade him to give to me[/STRIKE], which he says will make him feel tonnes better (again, his teeth are fine).
I'm just waiting for him to get bored of wearing these liners as he tends to go through these things like fads **eye roll**

. Actually it's my sister who is currently out of work so came to cat sit and put the hoover round, but she did a great job. Hopefully she will find some work soon and ditto everyone on this thread who is job hunting.
:rotfl: The best compensation for arthritis is lovely Angela, my cleaner. When I was out of work and a lot more mobile I cleaned for a friend, it's so much more satisfying doing it in someone else's house. I own all those anti - housework plaques and fridge magnets -'Dull Women Have Immaculate Homes' etc etc.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I had traintrack braced but I have an invisalign type retainer that I'm meant to wear occasionally to keep my teeth straight. So much comfier to wear than normal braces, bit achey with teeth moving when i've not worn it for ages but I can deal with achey when it's not combined with the scratchy metal bits that made my mouth bleed and trapped food. Only good thing was that I got to choose the colours :P
Anyone know if superdrug still do those little empty travel toiletry bottles? Thinking of decanting some sachets of shower gel/shampoo so I actually use it. I have some from primark but they're a bit big.ma-ri-ella wrote: »oooo lovely horse
re 20% of elf- that still annoys me cause the amercan site pay $1 and they often hav 50% / 75% off sales just puts me off buying because i think we pay over the odds. if ur going to buy then the elf eye shadow brush is quite good plus they have a bronzer which is a good dupe for nars orgasm . dont get the shimmer whips if u have sensative skin nice colours but made me spotty!
Didn't read in time but I happened to buy the eyeshadow brush & bronzer anyway0 -
Jacksxxx - Thanks for the link, love the look of the mini set and as I do like tomatoes might give these a go one day.juliebunny wrote: »Goodness, right OT, sorry - now, I have loads of BS sample pots - any ideas what to do with them? I mean, I must have about 10!
Alanis - I'll be interested to hear how your partner gets on. I get a teeth whitening at the end too, but I'll have to wait at least 10 months til I'm finished. I guess it doesn't matter how often someone tells you it's not necessary, you see the faults everytime you look in the mirror (and on photos).
Marzipan fish- I never had metal braces but heard so many bad things about them that I don't think i would have had the guts to go down that route!
Have a couple of splutterers so hopefully some UUs in the next few days.......It's sad how excited I get about nearing the end of a product. It's for this reason I hate things where you can't see inside the bottle to work out how much longer it's going to last!

Mmmm Nandos. I've never been but I really fancy it.:D I hope the film was good. I've got Zumba for the Wii and it is really hard work! I love it though, I can't wait until I get good at it.
P.S. Gorgeous horsey Trudij!
Thanks for this link. I'm using the Yes to Carrots hand cream at the moment and loving it so am thinking of trying another Yes range for my facial cleanser though I'm not ready to buy one yet!!
Nandos is lovely. You can choose your strength of piri piri sauce. We all enjoy the food. Have just been having a look a the WW points for their menu as well and it's not bad though I've always known it's a better choice of the fast food places out there. It's the best one on our cinema complex for a smaller sized meal as otherwise the choices would be an all you can eat buffet, KFC, Frankie & Bennys and a Harvester. There's also a Chiquito (MrM doesn't like it).
The Zumba is hard work and like you I'm looking forward to getting better at it. Am going to have a look at the My Fitness Coach Get in Shape that I bought as well. Have just been sorting out my measurements.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
