UU a vaseline deodrant - wba if on offer, it did the job!
Ordered flowers for my friend's service...chose red, yellow, orange and white flowers with a couple of butterflies on wire (she loved butterflies). I thought sunny colours for a sunny personality!
The flowers sound beautiful.
:wave:Welcome to the newbies
Charlie - there really is nothing quite like getting in the holiday mood.... *scuttles off to look at expedia*
I can't wait to finish work tomorrow night - I feel like I am just going to crash out this weekend. One week on and I am still not well with this virus thing. Been kept up at night coughing, sweating and generally feeling rubbish.
My Clinique Eye shadow Lot-of-Lilac is now a UU. This was years old and is the first eye shadow that I have UU on this challange. :j WIBA - Don't know if they still do this colour!!
I have replaced it with another daytime shadow - Clinique Sweet Nothing and added a Per Una Crush into my make up bag too, if I fancy a change.
Another £2 in my pot.
Has anyone been watching The Apprentice this week? I love this show and watch open mouthed at some of the "candidates" antics and attitudes. :wave:Welcome roseyrobin and Ayeshalush
Ayeshalush - your list is similar to mine. 19 shower gels is impressive though - are they all full size and are they from the numerous TSV's that have nothing but shower gels in them i.e. L'occitane?:D
Myself, VALM and scrappie (I'm sorry I can't remember who else at the moment)also shop from QVC but I'm much better than I used to be and have only bought 2 things since January from there. (Liz earle Toner and the recent OPI TSV) However finding the LHJ on many of my products hard going and still have many NPI. I did use the recent BS glitch but it was all for gifts (honest!)
Anyway, after yesterday's productive day - have been a bit out of sorts today. Got my CV finished and happy with it and had a phone call about voluntary work at a place in town. Have my reservations about the place and want to look at other places first- don't know whether to go with my gut instinct and turn something down but risk shooting myself in the foot -will need to do more research on the place first.
Shame, because I was all fired up yesterday -in the two meetings I had the advice was good and they were so empathic and positive but DH gave me a bit of a reality check last night and I hate to admit that he made some fair points about potential pitfalls and problems. Why is nothing ever straightforward:mad:. Head has benn spinning today!
Looking forward to a long soak in the bath tonight.
Oh and a UU - Decleor Sun Protective face cream SPF30 15ml WIBA - yes have another to use in my stash!0 -

Ooh, lovely charlie. Have fun

I'm declaring a UU....... can't find my lippy. It was older than my 7.5 yr old DS anyway and right at the bottom so when it does turn up, I'll sling it. Last time I used it, I was scraping it straight off as I was applying it because it was so low. Got another out of the stash to put on tonight. An avon one. Seems OK, not sure how long it'll last but will be UU quicker if I actually wear the darn thing- who knew?!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

As someone who has both been a volunteer and worked with volunteers in a variety of places, I can understand your reservations. My workplaces gave top-class training and work experience and we had a HUGE variation in the people we had as volunteers. I'm still in touch with some of them. We so valued the good ones!
Then there was one who when I pointed out that, actually, it WAS in his job description to see to the teas and coffees for learners (whilst I got on with teaching right up to the coffee break) retorted 'You ARE joking, aren't you???!!!'Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
HOW BIG IS THE SHOWER PUFF FROM S & G????:eek::eek:

Nice stash - what are SBC Gels?
Ding Dong! Avon Lady has just been so budge up on the naughty step
IN's:
2 x Brightening Hand Cream with Lemon & Cucumber - these were technically free as I bought an Intensive Hand Cream for my mum to try on a 3for1 offer
2 x Vanilla Moisture Shakes - they smell MMmmmm
1 x Lime Sugar Mojito Cooling Gel - need this as I have none
1 x Solutions Maximun Moisture Night Serum - again a need as I don't have one
Gonna try not to be tempted with the next magazine - but already have been :rotfl: they have trial sachets of new facemasks/treatments for £1 and the lovely shea body butter is practically half priceand they have new cherry hair care products *sigh* (at least they will be June IN's :rotfl:)

:wave:Welcome roseyrobin and Ayeshalush
Thank you.
Ayeshalush - your list is similar to mine. 19 shower gels is impressive though - are they all full size and are they from the numerous TSV's that have nothing but shower gels in them i.e. L'occitane?:D Yes, all full size and mainly L'Occitane, Philosophy and Molton Brown. Have never bought a L'Occitane TSV that was all shower gels as it is the Shea Butter Body Lotion that I love and they haven't been including that in the TSV's for a while now (thankfully:o, they are too good value then to resist but I still have 3 x 500ml).
I did use the recent BS glitch but it was all for gifts (honest!) I've been very good so far this year - I use Elemis and Decleor products but the ProCollagen Marine is always in the Elemis TSVs and is too rich for my skin and last couple of Decleor ones have been mainly anti-aging or body related. Somebody, somewhere is looking after my bank balance even if I'm not:o, lol. I also bought in the last BS glitch, but like you it was all gifts.
Anyway, after yesterday's productive day - have been a bit out of sorts today. Got my CV finished and happy with it and had a phone call about voluntary work at a place in town. I am sure you will make the right decision for you.
Oh and a UU - Decleor Sun Protective face cream SPF30 15ml WIBA - yes have another to use in my stash!
Nice stash - what are SBC Gels?
Simply Beautiful Cosmetics - I buy them from QVC but you can get them online and in some salons too. I have collagen gel, arnica gel, vitamin c gel, propolis gel, cucumber gel, lavender gel, echinachea gel, aloe vera gel, detox gel and more that I can't remember at moment. They are great for blending together and using under moisturisers or just on their own - depending on what your face or body requires.
Ding Dong! Avon Lady has just been so budge up on the naughty step
Gonna try not to be tempted with the next magazine - but already have been :rotfl: I find it so difficult not to buy from any catalogue pit through my door. Managed to resist Avon this time though.
Just been told my message is too short!!! Must be because I replied in the quotes!!
