I foresee lots of flashing lights and a few puffs of smoke in a server farm somewhere when you try that through the comparison sites :D

I drove 2 jap imports from Southampton to Chelmsford with no problems several years ago. We had a traders policy and displayed the chassis number front and rear.

I think you will find it difficult to get a domestic insurer to allow this these days, Tesco used to allow it a while back but i was informed they stopped allowing it , not sure why or when but the source was reliable.

I thought you said esure provide the third party on uninsured cars mickey?
Hence why i said that is a good reason to pay the extra. Esure where £150 more expensive than Santander. But i haven't even looked into if they allow driving other cars. If i buy a car at auction i use the NU drivehome Insurance that you get for free, mainly as i don't buy enough cars these days to make it viable to have a traders policy anymore.
