I think it was perfect. Loved the dress. I think it suprised a lot of people though because it was pretty simple, but again, it shows a lot of respect for the fact that a lot of real people are struggling financially.
I did wonder if that had played a part, not to go for anything too 'showy'.

Could anyone decipher what Harry said to William after he took a look at Kate walking down the aisle?

Harry said to William: "Now are you absolutely sure about this? It's not too late to change your mind, you know....."

I'm not a royalist, but I think Kate looked absolutely beautiful and her dress was fantastic. Posh showed herself up for being the "look at me, miserable is my image" silly tart that she is. Beatrice and Eugenie looked like pantomime dames - more camp than a row of pink tents.....and the proliferation of gravity defying "hats". Wish the newlyweds well:)

I thought she looked stunning and radiant and seemed to cope with the whole thing really well. She is a "commoner!" after all and wasn't brought up in that world.

I also agree that Sam Cam needed something better on her head than the hair clip she had, looked like she was just going to a friends wedding not the future king and queen her being the prime ministers wife and all that.

Also I thought that one of Fergie's daughters (Beatrice - I think?) fascinator looked like a crab or a lobster pmsl!! :rotfl: :p or possibly an octopus!!:rotfl:

It looked from his cheeky grin that it was probably something naughty.
Marks out of 10, I'd give her 1, or something.
No doubt someone will decipher it & it will be plastered everywhere. Then I can sleep at night.

I quite like her dress, simple yet stylish, it suited her to a tee.

I've just had a look at some of the stuff online, and can say that they make a lovely couple, even if he is going bald lol

I thought the lovely bride looked absolutely stunning. Timelessly elegant. That dress will still look fabulous when we look back at the pictures in decades to come. Pure class. :T

I liked it - was understated and won't date. I wasn't wild about the bustle or the train but I imagine it wouldn't have been the done thing to have no train at all.

The bouquet was perfect, no enormous trailing specimen and I liked that she wore her hair down as she would normally.

I thought Pippa's dress was stunning - I don't think she is quite as attractive as Kate normally but she looked amazing today.

Actually it was quite refreshing - makes a change from Chav weddings with enormous brides in strapless dresses, rolls of fat dripping over the corsets.

Talking of OTT - did anyone see Big Fat Gypsy Wedding last night - at least none of the Royal guests looked like some of the guests there:eek::eek:
