What did we all think of Kates dress?

I thought the dress was beautiful, classy and elegant. I was glad to see that there were no sparkles or glittery bits - she's a grown woman not a child playing dress up!
The one thing I wasn't keen on, and which I always think spoils her look a little, is the amount of black kohl eyeliner she seems to wear on her lower lids. I think it's a bit ageing, and she would look even more beautiful with a softer look.
But the dress, the make-up etc, all faded into insignificance really - as someone who had previously been fairly uninterested in the whole thing, I found it so moving to see two people who are clearly in love marry in such an amazing setting. And despite that setting and all the trappings, it somehow managed to be intimate as well as a grand occasion. Kate seemed to be taking it all in and enjoying the day, rather than being overwhelmed by the occasion, which was lovely to see - just a bride enjoying her wedding day, like any other bride (well, sort of!).0 -
I loved the dress. I adore the lace sleeves look.
Disappointed with veil.
I thought they could have done some of the lace design along the bottom - it looked like she had a basic net curtain over her head...0 -
I thought the wedding dress was absolutely beautiful.
Perhaps on someone else is might not have looked so good but Kate being a natural beauty, who carries herself with such assurance and grace, brought the dress alive I feel
The wee bridesmaid, must have found the noise of the jets just way too much. Im surprised that at 3 they did as well. I remember William being a wee fidget as a page boy at Andrews wedding
I wasnt sure on Pippas dress. Yes it was a knockout and she looked stunning but perhaps just a bit too slinky for a royal wedding.
As for the rest of the roal family, thought the Queen looked lovely. Camilla looked rather stout in that outfit. I thought Princess Zara was the best dressed of the young royals - that hat and colour really suited her. Poor Beatrice and Eugenie - less said the better
And Prince William and Harry - their mother would have been so very proud. Bought a tear to my eye seeing them together, such handsome and assured young men0 -
Such a relief to see a bride not wearing one of these identical strapless numbers that everyone seems to wear these days, regardless of whether they have the figure for it or whether the style suits them or not!0

I thought the dress was lovely at the top but it was as if the bottom didnt match the top. I thought she would go quite fitted at bottom with a slinky train...
pippas dress was lovely but she did steal kates thunder a little...would have liked to seen her maybe a creamier colour or even a different colour all together
little bridesmaids looked so cute bless0
