Highlighted her figure well, also paid reference to the see through lace dress she was wearing when Wills first saw her and the colour was very flattering to her skin tone. Brilliant white would have looked cheap.
Did anyone notice the lack of hat on Sam Cameron?
I though Sam Cameron looked drab, they looked like they had just popped in to say hello:rotfl:Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0 -
More cream anyone ....
I thought the dress was OK. Her sister's bridesmaid's dress was more to Kate's usual style but obviously she had constraints like attaching the train etc. I did think she had far too much/heavy eye make up on which showed up especially with her hair off her face.
I did see Victoria Beckham but only head and shoulders. She probably banned full length photos cos she's pregnant!0 -
Just found this

I wonder does Victoria really design herself or is she just a front?0 -
I thought her dress was fab, as was Pippas and the little bridesmaids. Thought her make up looked fine too.
Can't please everybody so you have to please yourself!0 -
I liked the dress but didn't think it had the Wow factor for a 21st century princess. Although it was quite reminiscent of the dress Princess Grace wore, and of my dress too actually.
Pippa looked stunning though...I thought harry looked quite interested! imagine that;).
They look such a happy couple though, I really hope they have a long and happy marriage.0 -
Loved the dress, especially the modest lace over an apparent strapless main part.
Some lovely outfits on guest, but some hideous hats too.
Tara P-T had a giant blue banana and princess Anne had a purple cabbage perched on hers!
Victoria Beckham had a dark blue pill-box looking as if it would fall over her eye. How do they keep these precarious hats on?Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)0 -
I saw Posh this morning in navy and it did show a lower shot on ITV and you could just see her bump with the wind blowing the poncho/dress type thing she had on. She never cracked a smile either...surprise
I liked Kates dress but not sure on her, i did feel it was a bit old for her but she still looked lovely just not as wow as i thought it would be.
Her sister looked lovely though and that dress fitted her shape so well.0 -
Agree with Claribel, thought she looked lovely and she has a lovely smile, but the wow factor was missing for me too.
Thought she was in danger of being upstaged by her sister who looked stunning, although I didn't think the style of her sister's dress really complimented that of the bride or the other bridesmaids. That was from a quick look on the tele anyway, maybe different in real life!0 -
I'm quite meh about the whole day to be honest, but I did like Kate's top half of the dress, demure but very pretty. I think I'd have preferred less of a puffy skirt to it though.
Loved Loved Loved her sister's bridesmaid dress, that did really have the wow factor for me, and I can imagine there will now be a lot of bridesmaids in similar styles in the next year or so.0 -
I don't suppose anyone marrying into the royal family would be too concerned about any wedding-dress having a "wow factor". I thought she looked very beautiful and the dress most appropriate and understated as it was almost the complete opposite of William's mother's on her wedding day, for obvious reasons.0
