I'm gonna nominate this for Post Of The Month, myself. Sold the phone for a generous £30 myself. Looking forard to spending the emoney in the January sales :)

My greedy side says I should have ordered 10 in family and friends names.. ;)
  • On my vouchers it says "offer ends 31/12/06" does that mean the vouchers have to be used before then?
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

this has been discussed many times. The vouchers have to be texted off by then. They are then valid for 6 months when added to the e-wallet.

You have to text the 83338 number with those codes before the 31st December... but the code that bounces back to you (which you enter into you e-wallet on HMV) is valid until next year sometime

    EDIT: it's valid until the 31st May 2007 ( i just chked)

This is a feature you can use with Outlook Express - but even though you request a receipt, the recipient and choose not to send one!

This feature best works within companies but has less effect when sending external messages.

OLE - Tools/Options/Receipts :- Here you can switch on permanently

Or, when sending a message, use the Tools pull-down menu and select "request a read receipt" - This will only request a RR for this message only.

Outlook 2003 (in a new email) -> View -> Options -> Voting and tracking options -> Request a read receipt for this message

On Hotukdeals, there is a code for £5 off for £35 spend in HMV. It mentions games, but seems to be ok for DVDs as well.

Therefore, splitting your spend from your e-wallet into 2 >£35 tranches, you should get another £10 of value for your original £49.99 investment.

    Les

EDIT: At least one of the codes has expired since I used it yesterday, but others are still working..

Would any kind moneysaver with a spare phone consider selling it to me for a reasonable price? I'm gutted, had 2 orders mysteriously declined so I missed out. I have an L2 and have been looking for a good deal on a L6 or L7 for ages. If this applies to anyone please PM me. Thanks :)
