I just wanted to say, PLEASE DO NOT PHOTOCOPY THE FAIRY COUPON - this is what stops coupons being issued, abuse of them!

Click 'it didn't print' and get a second one. Photocopy them to your heart's consent, although it states it 'cannot be reproduced', I've done it anyway.

I have copied this from the DTD thread, and re-posted it here for anyone that is thinking of photocopying them as per the ops suggestion. Please don't, for the reasons below.

Can't believe no one else has commented on this. Please don't photocopy them, its actions like that that got the fantastic coupon policy in tesco stopped a couple of years ago.

The safe coupons (which is what the fairy ones are) each have a unique barcode, and you are only allowed to print out 2 from your ip address. If you photocopy these then thats fraudulent. It even says on the coupon that they are unique and trackable - do you really want yours or your mates ip address traced?

If you copy them its no better than repeatedly printing out the same DTD voucher and using with an unsigned receipt over and over again.

I for one don't want tesco to stop taking coupons, some people already report their stores won't take internet ones because of actions like this. Have a bit of sense.
  • Im so glad others have posted what Im thinking.

Look, before 2 October 2009 Tesco in particular had a wonderfully generous coupon acceptance policy and it was all blown out of the water by mis-use. Now it is coupon per product bought. Simple.

Couponnet printable coupons do sometimes allow 2 to be printed - they are NOT FOR PHOTOCOPYING. Just a couple of years ago Ebay was flooded with photocopied vouchers from Airwick which had a fantastic value. This I believe was one of the straws that broke Tesco (the camel's) back with their policy. As usual there are those who want to take everything to the edge and beyond and swamped Tesco with these vouchers which were nothing more than forgeries.

There are plenty of ways of getting legitimate printable coupons (using friends, families, neighbours, library, work (if permitted) - for goodness sake - please do not photocopy printables.

Can't people just be happy that dtd was a wonderful promotion but was never forever. Those who indulged all benefitted from it including me. I was disappointed yesterday too, it has helped us as family no end but Time to move on now and yes adapt but not stoop to the level of fraud.

Also would be only courteous if everyone who follows the links to printable coupons takes a moment to thank those over on the appropriate thread who take the time and trouble (like the ss guys on dtd) to help you time save and benefit.

Well, I'm sad that it's over and I admit I'm more than a little jealous at the photos posted on the other thread but I finally got around to storing my stash and i'm very happy with my haul. I only spent £88 of my own cash and still have £58 vouchers to spend so a very good return I should say!!
I must extend my thanks to all the posters who told us their deals, the spreadsheet editors who did an absolutely sterling job and of course to the marketing idiots at Tesco; without whom we'd have had no freebies!
Here's to the next big deal. Until then I'll miss you all!!
(and today was the first day for a while that I didn't wake up thinking about dtd):o

For me this thread would be great. My nearest Asda is over 100 miles away so my thinking was to check the rollbacks on the asda site every few days and IF the offers are relevant to me buy them seperately from my usual shopping. Now I will check for any relevant MOCs but the main benefit will be having acess to Asda special offers whilst still accruing my clubcard points, to me that's a winner. So I'm in!
