We still have to remember, that the price check is limited to 10 receipts checked per month. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0

I've just printed off my SuperSavvyMe coupons (click 'it didn't print correctly' to get a second, then photocopy x n) and they state 'one per purchase' which is just vague enough to allow two per transaction, I feel.
Hi I did know about these coupons but what does photocopy x n mean. I thought photocopies were nt allowed. Am i missing something0 -
Is the normal DTD that's been going on in Tesco shops for years still running?0

Dont forget the good food show is coming up soon and is a great place for coupons0

Will be nice to get some of Asda's offers in tesco, it will be like Tesco have more offers on lol, all under one roof. My plan of action now is to start doing my shopping at tesco, used to be an asda shopper but Tesco is alot nearer and have realised how much quicker it is to nip to Tesco and back! So anyway, shop at tesco and put all offers through as one transaction, all full priced items through as a seperate transaction.. use as many coupons as possible.. and if I'm not buying many full priced items, maybe give them a quick check with the asda scanner to see if there is any sort of multibuy offer i need to take advantage of in order to get it as BOGOF or something for example.
I think the barcode scanners will come in very handy still...
ANDROID Barcode scanner Apps
My OH has just figured out how to use the barcode finder to bring up asda's price. You need to;
download the barcode app by ZXing team,
go onto custom search settings,
type in http:// groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=%s (with no space after http:/)
save that as your custom search,
scan your item as normal
press custom search
and HEY PRESTO :j up it pops on the asda site on your phone
We were unable to find a custom search address for tesco as the tesco website doesnt search for barcodes.. but we did find..
the app by kishor gandham called tesco grocery shopper
if you choose to download it... heres how to work the scanner
there are 3 buttons at the top, choose the scanner, and off you goHowever, I am not sure how often this is updated..
Emailed the creator of the tesco app asking how often it is updated.. this is the reply..
The prices shown in the app fairly accurate. However, this varies from screen to screen. When you first search for a product or browse a category of products, the entire product information along with prices are obtained from Tesco. Post that, some of this data is cached (stored) temporarily on the mobile device. This is done to avoid redundant calls to Tesco and save battery and internet bandwidth. So, for a shot period of time (3-4 hours), you may see stale data. However, Tesco doesnt change prices through out the day, hence should be fine.
Having said this, the basket content is never cached(stored) on the device. So, once you add an item to basket or go to basket page, the prices shown are same as what Tesco has on the website.0 -

thanksI love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!
Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A0 -
To be honest, coupons or no coupons, the useful thing is going to be getting asda's deals in tesco. My shops always mainly consist of offers, with the odd full priced necessety or treat thrown in. Although I do come home without some of the items I set out to get as it wasnt 'on offer' and if its an item that does come on offer regularly I just think 'I'll wait'. Will be great to get extra offers in tesco by way of money back voucher to equal asda. Although like I said before, it will mean putting through offers and none offers in seperate transactions.0
