It is interesting to see that this hasn't been pulled by ebay, I reported it the day it went live, surely this qualifies as a policy breach.

so you have reported it and ebay have done nothing about it.......maybe you should take the hint and stop harrassing other ebay users, let ebay police their own site.

i thought we weren't supposed to post other ebay members usernames in this forum anymore.....

    Hi everyone!

We need to ask that, from now on when you're posting about eBay or indeed other auction sites on this board that you don't:

    a) give sellers' or buyers' eBay names (or personal details although we already don't allow that)

To clarify, you're still welcome to ask others for advice about a situation you're having or a purchase or sale, just don't name names or discuss it with the person in question on here.

We've added this to the Forum Rule FAQs

    Thanks!

.maybe i should report you the MSE forum team?

    just a thought........

How can I show you listings that have been reported and then consequently pulled?
Have you not seen this before?
How about the second chance offer scam?
    how about shill billing?
I really dont have anything to prove to you and I am not on this board to argue with people.
Sometimes people are like a dog with a bone.
I am going to see if anyone else on the bay needs any (policing) help.

You could show me any thread that thwarted a scam. Or you could just make unsubstantiated claims and then get arsey when someone asks you for evidence.

Every listing could be a scammer. Can any one of you point me to a post which has thwarted a scam? Or are you just dobbing a few in on the off chance?
A bit like the Witchfinders did.

car cat is "c" but it got not a big accident, it got only screchies from one of those two cars whom got accident
the screchies was only on back bamper and now we painted that bumper, and nothing is changed in the car because of accident.
car cat is changed to "c" because it counted in those cars.

Would a few scratches on the back bumper be enough to cause an insurance company to write off a vehicle?

Would a few scratches on the back bumper be enough to cause an insurance company to write off a vehicle?

    Cat c is defined as

An extensively damaged vehicle which the insurer has decided not to repair, but which could be repaired and returned to the road.

Parkers have a 53 plate yaris at £3k retail price 2k p/e to write it off to cat C means at least £1500 damage. This suggests there is more damage behind the bumper?

Is someone bound by a bid if they discover more damage when taking delivery?

Actually the definition from the ABI is "
REPAIRABLE total loss vehicles where repair costs including VAT exceed the vehicle’s pre-accident value (PAV)."

I am a salvage dealer myself and a car will not be CAT C because of damage to the other vehicles so this seller is talking carp. Also I have seen cat C cars in much better nick and needing less doing than cat d cars, it's all about the cost to repair with brand new parts, at approved repairers as opposed to used parts etc. I have bought cat c's where repair costs have been quoted in excess of 2k and I've found replacement panels in the same colour for around £200, bolt off, bolt on.

Also depends on the assessor on the day.
