Apart from the few odd trips to the Post Office (which I don't count as it comes directly out of my eBay profits) I haven't shopped since the last time I posted. Which takes my total of NSD to #19 only 1 more to reach my target, which I think I will, given the fact I'm really skint. Good luck to every on and keep up the good work.

.
Got a call this afternoon to say his van (which he needs for work) had developed a few minor problems he had to get fixed today - but they mounted up to a bill of around £200 !!!
So he can't afford to take me out, and insists that (as a gent) he has to pay the first we go out. So the date's postponed until further noticeCheryl0 -
NSD number 15, hoping my petrol may last until Monday now :j0

SF - so sorry you didn't get the job, but i'll be keeping my fingers crossed an even better one is round the corner!!
Keiss - how awful for your son! I do hope he is ok, have you had any more news yet?
Welcome back Cats, glad you are on the mend!
 to the last minute cancellation Cheryl, hope you are not too disappointed, but he does sound like a real gentleman!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
:mad::mad: just found out that the hotel i had booked for hols has been closed down!!!!!
(booked all the bits independently & not a package)
The owner has a room for us in his other hotel so not a total disaster, but i have a real dilemma now as i know my mum will not find it sunny enough round the pool at the alternative hotel & won't be happy staying there. However i also know that if we move to another hotel, which isn't where all our holiday friends are staying she won't be happy with that either (we booked this week specifically to catch up with them). I also can't ask her as io know she will start to stress about how rubbish her life is that she can't even have a decent holiday!!! My head hurts with thinking about it
So anyway, despite the fact that i was on course for a NSD i have given in & rung a takeaway as i just can't face frozen veg & supernoodles again!! (at least that means the emptying of the freezer before my hols has gone well!!)
3 days before i go away & 3 to get, so going to put my pub money to one side today & i might just scrape through, fingers crossed!!February NSD challenge 5/150
