Spendy Day today as £22 went out in Riverford Organics Box today. Just having breakfast and reheating potatoes to make potato salad as heat makes flavours infuse properly. Very angry that one of neighbours with key to bike shed stole my £700 Orbit bike for Petite frame that was locked, out of the bike shed, no doubt to help a poor mum with her drug son etc, no excuses will wash on this one, so finger is pointed firmly at neighours and I have put my sleuthing hat on. NB I am very good at sleuthing.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

Hi all - just gatecrashing your thread because I had an idea this morning and didn't know what else to do with it...
I am trying not to spend on clothes. My favourite source of free stuff is clothes swaps, but things are getting pretty desperate - most of the stuff I wear day to day is looking pretty shabby.
But looking in my wardrobe I realised I had loads of stuff that I think of as too posh to wear to work (where dresscode is smart/casual). Tailored trousers, fitted dresses, smart blouses, suit jackets - the kind of stuff you wear to an interview and then never again.
Well I'm going to dust it all off and wear it!! I quite fancy smartening up a bit anyway and it will save me buying anything new. I wonder if anyone will notice the new glammed-up-yet-money-saving me:DMake £10 a day May challenge

Hi smiths82
You're not gatecrashing at all, welcome to the NSD challenge:D
There's a great thread run by Lula Hula, the crazy clothes challenge, in the DFW diaries section. They have all sorts of ideas for updating/changing the look of clothes they already have as the idea is to limit yourself to spending only a certain amount per year. Why not pop along and have a look and maybe join up?
You're more than welcome to join us as well if you'd like to?
Hope this helps

PS: And I'm sure people will notice the new glammed-up (yet very MSE:D) youThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
