Well...yesterday ended up being a spendy day...but managed not to spend anything today, so I am now up to 6 NSDs :j
The quilt exhibition I went to yesterday was wonderful, and I spent all the money I had in my purse!! (Could have been much worse...no-one took plastic!). On my way home I got some carrots, so hoping not to spend now until Wednesday...that would be good (and a miracle)
!!!
Have a great evening everyone...belated Birthday Wishes to you If.

Hi mm7 - did you take your chain to a high street jewellers? I was selling some gold last year and found a thread on this site that recommended Hatton Garden Metal - they pay a lot more than jewellers for scrap gold x I hope you don't mind me mentioning itBe the change you want to see in the world - Gandhi

Hi everyone,
Please may I gatecrash/re-join for May, admittedly a bit late?
I'd like to go for 8 NSDs... highly doubt I have any so far! Train fares to uni aren't counted by my rules, and I am debating about the hair appointment I have tomorrow as it is planned... Not sure on that one!
Thanks“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Hi all,
Just had to catch up again. Actually read everything this time! Feel like I've so much going round in my head I keep forgetting things, this challenge being one of them! My to-do list keeps getting bigger and bigger!!
May so far has been flippin rubbish for me spend wise. I did manage NSD 2 on Sunday tho. Was hoping for number 3 today but my rubbish money pit car ruined that.
Had it booked in for MOT today, but knew my dad would end up paying for that. It then needed a new exhaust and two new tyres and some other crap doing so even with new exhaust it failed
Car insurance due at end of the month and I'm already overdrawn after paying for the tyres. Best friends birthday at same time also. So frustrating cos I was nearly on track and out of overdraft.
Think this unpredictable weather is getting me down, I wanna be out on my bike (early bday present from father - which I still owe him for part of as it was a leeetle more expensive than he wanted to pay) as I'm training for a bike ride, but I'm not sure I want to go out in thunder and lightening!
Sorry for moaning, just one of those days I think!
Cheryl - If your Zumba class is anything like mine, you will love it! I come back on Thursday nights singing and dancing round my kitchen like a loon! Can't go this week, so gutted, as it really cheers me up! Enjoy!
