Didn't manage a NSD today but I've had a bit of a shock - the sig says it all. I've posted on the Roll of Honour thread and started one of my own (sheer excitement it was M'Lud). Suffice to say, my lovely mum gifted me the money to pay the last dregs to MBNA and I am a very happy Wee Pilsbury :j.
However, I'll be back here to post a NSD tomorrow and the next day too - no getting rid of me:D.
While I'm here I'd like to say a huge thanks to everybody - you all inspired me, supported me and gave me a right laugh. It really kept me going through the slog and I couldn't have got there without you (and my mum as well)
Wee P
Congratulations Wee P, I'm delighted for you.:j:j:j:j
Don't go disappearing on us now though
I think we deserve a couple of these to help you celebrate
Off to read your thread nowThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Good morning gang!
First off - congrats WEE P - woohoo!! Great news!!
Also - NSD #3 for me, I'm trying SO hard this month!( OH thinks I'm trying all the time;))
Today is MOT day for the car that got serviced last week. I know it needs two tyres but I asked the garge to check if there was anything elsethat would affect the passing of said MOT. Nothing obvious flagged up so positive vibes please for a PASS! Cars drive me potty!
However, I do have a budget for this, so again if it doesnt go over I'll claim a NSD.
Must dash now tho, as I've to drop it off before work.
See you later
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

After some help please guys.
Today was planned to be a NSD but I have just checked my account, this is an account I don't use but has an overdraft amount of £300. For the last 2 months I have been paying £40 a month towards this account with the idea of paying off the overdraft and closing the account.
Anyways, just checked it today and I have unarranged overdraft fee's, long story short they went to take their arranged overdraft fee of £5 and that made me go overdrawn.
Well, today I have transferred another £100 to this account so it is sitting at £200 overdrawn. I need help, I really just want to get rid of this overdraft and close the account, my partner has a HBOS credit card interest free on purchases till September. Anyway I can pay the overdraft amount of £200 from the overdraft then just pay back the overdraft? Or is this not classed as a purchase this would maybe be classed as a balance transfer which I don't think we have an interest free period for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Now just want rid of this overdraft as its causing me sadness! lol
Thanks x0 -
Whereabout did you get to..Durness, Tongue?? Good luck with job hunting...I suppose I should start too...:o
Yeah made it to Durness and spent a great afternoon on the beach in the sun. Went for a paddle, water was very cold. Wasn't brave enough for full swim.
Cycled round to Tongue too and wild camped at the beach at Coldbackie. No one there had the beach to ourselves. :j Then headed down to Lairg to catch the train back. Currently planning next years bike ride, I think we might be stepping it up a gear . . .
Good luck with the job hunting too. I really need to step this up. Have a few time logistical nightmares which I didn't realise till last night, which means I really need to find a job by June! Maybe we should make a pact to give each other a kick up the bum
No NSD yesterday and I am not sure that today will be one either as I really need compost to plant my herbs.
Hope everyone has a good day.

rock cakes - I need to get compost today too so have reluctantly allowed today to be a spend day. I am also going to play the lottery today as found a nice wee car on ebay and I am a couple of hundred pounds short. Spends today of £3.69 so far ( I confess, I also forgot my lunch
