Just read all 8 pages so far hilarious! :T:rotfl:

Can I be put down for 10 no spend days please?

I have already bought all my work snacks for the next three weeks which should stop me going to the shop during the week...I am skint this month so that should help too!

Was a spendy day for me today so almost didn't log on (much prefer posting on this thread when I've got a NSD to report!) but after reading today's posts am so glad I did!! Are there any green ribbons going? Couldn't find any of Igor's fizz left so have cracked open a beer instead just to be sociable :D :j

I know what you mean, I sometimes only feel like posting to say when I've got an NSD, but it would be easy then to miss a few days, so I try to post most days.
I've had a spendy day today too, but looks promising for tomorrow.

Off to a good start. Today was a NSD. I'm on the live below £1 a day challenge for the next 5 days. Anybody got a recipe for fried toad or rat?

Hello lovely (and ever expanding) gang:A.. no, I'm not referring to our waistlines, just our numbers:D

Thanks for the update cats:T, all the brand spanking new NSDs are added to the front page now, lots today, fingers crossed for some more tomorrow.

Well I went to have a little lie down following too much knitting on the maypole and way to much of Igor's gutrot and sheep roast:D and have only just woken up. If anyone is suffering from insomnia, I would recommend Igor's cuisine:eek:

Another newbie joining us today so I'm being polite and saying "hello":hello: and welcome. It’s great to have you on board, if you’re not sure about anything please ask, we’re very friendly and there’s usually someone around to help. Feel free to join in with the chat and general nonsense on here, we’re fairly tame (well, most of the time). Good luck with your first NSD challenge - keep posting, that’s the secret to success here.

So a big welcome to the challenge to:

oochable - all signed up now, good luck with getting your first target. I'm sure you can do it, keep posting and we'll give you loads of encouragement and motivation.

And, as usual, a welcome back to the “oldies” and regulars signing up today (you’re an oldie and a regular on your second month, we don’t stand on ceremony here, you’re part of the furniture now):

Diana Prince - it doesn't matter how long it's been you're always welcome to join the gang again. Good luck with your target.

wouldbeqaulitymoneysaver - welcome back, all signed up now. Good luck, you can do it, keep posting is the answer.

boultdj - all signed up again. The boot is ready and I'm sure I can borrow BDINI's paintbrush if needed, but I'm sure May will be much better for you. Good luck.

bottleofred - welcome back, all signed up now. Good luck with getting your target, you can do it!

postingalwaysposting - thanks for the welcome back! All signed up now, good luck with reaching your target - you can do it!

pinkfluffybabe - hi and welcome back, all signed up now. Good luck, you can do it!

gothrockchic1 - hi, of course you can join in again, you're very welcome. All signed up now, good luck with your target. Glad you're pleased with your April total and that you're seeing a difference - that's the aim

wit40iwtwan - yes, we're back again - we're always here, you can't keep the NSD thread down! All signed up now, good luck, and well done for meeting all your targets so far, that's good going!

GeorgieFTB - welcome back, good to see you again. All signed up now and good luck with getting your target - you can do it. Hope you're pleased with your new house?

WelshWoofer - welcome back, always room for a small (or large) one, good to see you again. All signed up now, good luck with getting your total. You'll get loads of encouragement here, just keep posting

LittleMissHappy - all signed up now, good luck with getting your target, you can do it. Keep posting, we'll give you lots of encouragement (and maybe the odd kick up the bum)

katholicos - welcome back, but you won't last long if you keep using that "f" word - flop..... that's as bad as the other "f" word in our books. Good luck with getting your target this month, you can do it, keep posting and we'll give you loads of encouragement

Buffythedebtslayer - hi and welcome back, all signed up now. Glad you're enjoying the thread, can't see any reason why we can't have fun while saving money - that's always been the aim of this challenge. Good luck with getting your target.

All shipshape now (can you tell I'm a Virgo:D)

    'night everyone

    Hi All,

Completed my first NSD of the month - 1 NSD down, 19 to go.

Been doing DIY all day and I realised that the white paint I was planning on using was past its best (really foul smelling and watery) Normally I would have rushed out to buy a new tin, but I added a spoon of vanilla essence, gave it an almighty stir (still watery though :() and just got on with it.

Also, recycled the old decking from out the back to make some shelves.

Hope everyone is doing as well as they hoped.

    See you tomorrow :j
Love the idea of adding vanilla essence to paint to make it smell better...I wonder how long the smell will last once it is on the wall!! Well done on re-using the decking, we do things like that too. :D
Well thats a lovely name either way round, & i actually like Floss too (even with the dental connotations :rotfl:)

Now is there any fizz round here that Igor's not had his hands on???
Just wanted to say,I love the name Florence kerri. My dog is called Floss (she had that name when we got her as a rescue dog)...as is our neighbours' dog...don't think they have every worked out they both have the same name, in all the 11 years we have had her! :rotfl:

My sis is called Flora, but mainly known as Flo (though a couple of colleagues call her Flossy!). When she was growing up, she was called Marg...some even thought she was a Margaret, until they worked it out (Flora spread ..... leads you to Marg!! :rotfl:) . Flora is a family name, with us having three generations of Aunty Flo's.

Whenever I hear Florence, I always think of the Magic Roundabout...speaking of which...Time for bed everybody!! :j (not quite Zebedee!!).

Sorry I missed the Maypole dancing...sounds like it was great fun! Been sowing seeds, then more cross-stitching...she's coming along Spoon!!

    Night, night all.
