I'm not going anywhere today and can declare it NSD 2!
4 more to go this week to get 6 in a row!
Have spent the morning flitting between batch cooking and some frantic studying for assignment deadline tomorrow. Off to get to the finish line now!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Well, NSD no 2 eludes me (it is still only the 2nd May though!).
Spent 87p on fat free fromage frais for recipe for tea - almost got OH to pay for it when he popped to the shops but he couldn't find it (men!) and I had to go myself.
There's always tomorrow......0 -
I was doing really well yesterday and then my lodger persuaded me to let him go and get me a pizza. Damn!
So, can I have a target of 8 NSDs please and I'll have another go at starting today. Better not go any higher than 8 as I have an interview on Wednesday so the budget may be entirely different after then!

Hi all NSDers ss
Well yesterday was spendy despite not going to plan, couldn't get to London as the bus replacement that would have got me there on time didn't run so I did the shopping I would have done and got baccy etc too which should mean I'm okay for the month. was a bit organised and got steradent and washing powder too so am hoping not to get caught out by anything this month though I may have missed loo roll (I am loath to bring up loo roll on this thread :rotfl:)
Also managed to find my way to the tip which is the roundabout I hate but was worth it as I got rid of a big telly which I hate and has been cluttering up the lounge, I am going to bring down the small one from upstairs. Was funny it was hard to lift so got it into the street then backed the car up to the house just as two young lads were walking up the road so managed to get them to put it in the car for me.........they did look at me strangely and probably thought I was burgularing the place and I don't think they really understood me, they sounded Spanish or something:rotfl: but it's gone now and my back is in one piece which is good
Am in with number 1 today :j and am hoping to keep it that way, have got a long run of early shifts this week and a couple of evenings at second job so hopefully will be too tired to spend LOL.
Right off to try to move some furniture about and get washing done, have a lovely day everyone

Well, just got back after 2nd car boot in 2 days, made around £70 profit over both days so quite chuffed really, seeing as both days were fairly quiet. DS has £30 going into his school trip fund account plus nearly £20 to spend on himself and I have kept the rest as cash float for odds and sods expenditure, which means I can declare a few more NSDs, seeing as the cash is cash that I did not really have, if you see what I mean!
Well the MayDay fling went quite well, I think, some of us with sore heads this morning but lots of happy memories (Spoon tying herself and others up in knots with the ribbons, BigMumma frantically trying to play Smoke on the Water on bass washboard accompanied by Jinty on that strange squealy thing, loads of food left over, though, about half a roasted sheep for sandwiches for the next few weeks plus the odd bucket of gutrot still waiting to be drunk.) Last thing I remember is Igor frantically trying to untie all the yellow ribbons from that oak tree, tripping over Lula who had passed out (as usual) under it. So, Mistress Spoon, when is the next outing and what will we be celebrating? As well as all the luvverly NSDs everyone seems to be collecting, of course. One life - your life - live it!0 -
NSD number 1 for me today. Had a nice walk in the park, played some games with DGD's, and didn't spend a thing!! Hope everyone else has had a good day.New Year New You Challenge - 13.5lbs/10lbs

Afternoon all, I hope everyone is able to enjoy the lovely (if breezy!) weather we are happening.
Declaring today as NSD no 2, been busy sowing seeds and washing pots and trays for the next lot of sowing...going to run out of space in the conservatory and greenhouse soon!! :rotfl: DH had two trip to the tip today, getting rid of the junk from the shed clearout yesterday, as well as bags of stuff lying round the garden.
Have put in an online order with Mr T today, but only count it as a spend when I sign the pad thingy on delivery (tomorrow evening), as the total cost can change. Working tomorrow, then collecting DS2 from college in the afternoon...so best to get the order sorted online. I can stop off on the way home to get eggs, F&V.
Enjoy the rest of the day folks.

Ha! Yes Keiss - it IS breezy!
Still, my washing is drying in no time!
While I take a rest from writing a job application, I'm staking my claim to NSD 2 today - nearly reached my whole total for last month already!!0 -

Well done with the car boot Nargle. I find them quite addictive, I love the feeling of getting home, unloading the car and flopping on the sofa with a well earned cuppa. Next one will be after hols but looking forward to it.
May Day trip was great - though has anyone seen Hubert? Last I say Igor was trying to tie him to the maypole with a mind of upending it and turning it into a giant spit roast
Small spend for me today - bread, beans, nuts (for OH), some mini cheese and cat treats (for me at the cat respectivly) at Mr T, total cost £5. Also was going to get some of those 'crisps in a long tube' to take on holiday but I wanted to check out the offers online first - seems Mr T is the best so I will get those tomorrow. So long as that's all I spend, that can count as a NSD since my purchase was delayed for genuine reasons.
Gorgeous day here today, a good drying day as my FIL would say. Off to tackle the HUGE pile of ironing and put another wash on.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
