Today is NSD number 1
I spent four pounds on FLowers yesterday and intend (on my diary so as not to bore you all senseless) to keep a record of spends.
its an exciting life here. I spent most of the day in a shed.
xxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Today is NSD number 2! Tomorrow will be a spend day as mortgage payment (and the rest
) are coming out. Need to go shopping as well but hopefully that won't be too bad as I am trying to live out of my freezers and cupboards, also have some Tesco vouchers to redeem.
Could I also try for 3 NSD's in a row this month? Have worked out a calendar of when things will be coming out and think I could do more but just in case 3 seems like a realistic target for a first timer!0 -

Well put my down for NSD day number 2. Was expecting to have to pay fees for a renting a football pitch but we just played for free.
Unfortunately quite a few payments coming out tomorrow so it'll definitely be a spend day.0 -
Not a NSD for me today - needed some food!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Still, my washing is drying in no time!
While I take a rest from writing a job application, I'm staking my claim to NSD 2 today - nearly reached my whole total for last month already!!
Good luck Cats, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
Spendy day today :mad::mad:
Was all organised & put my £6 for the pub to one side on Saturday when i was spending anyway, but then halfway through a big house clean the hoover belt snapped  debated leaving it, but just knew that i would keep leaving it if i did that & the house was full of bits of grass that got walked in when i tackled the lawns, so headed into town, which may have been a mistake....
I ended up with a hoover belt, some strawberries (i can never resist the english ones when they are in the shops!), another bottle (or two ) of that cheap wine in Mr T & a pair of new work trousers, but they were reduced from £35 to £12 & i am pretty sick of managing with only 3 pairs - this stems from the fact that i was planning to leave for so long i didn't want to buy something i might not wear, but now i am staying it's better than having to run the washer & dryer half full mid week to have enough clean clothes (i work somewhere pretty stinky, so can never wear anything more than once!!)
Anyway, that looks like the lot for spending until Friday when i finish early enough to put my winter coats in the dry cleaners... fingers crossed!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
I'd like to report NSD # 1.
I did put something on the credit card but I'll count that when I pay the credit card off.0 -
Kerri - spit-roast Hubert???? Don't give Igor ideas, please!
Lula - you have my sympathy. The recorder should be banned. Or inserted in a personal place belonging to the person who invented it - sideways.
Having said that, I have heard recorders played en masse by people who knew what they were doing, and it sounded really good. Let's hope you have a child prodigy at home (they say Mozart was composing at 3 years old - and decomposing at 103...)
BigMumma - ouch to the fingers! Stick to country and western next time.
Did some spending today - posh bread for DS school lunch, as I can't make light and fluffy home made bread. Still, there will be another NSD in the not-too-distant future. One life - your life - live it!0
