Hi lovely gang :A
Well I’ve recovered (just) from the maypole outing, though it did take a while to untangle myself from the ribbons:D. I do, however, have the beginnings of a very nice knitted something - just not too sure about the shape, it might need a bit of work:rotfl:
Lots of chatting going on today, lots more NSDs and some “oldies” returning to the gang, best I get on then....
Welcome back to the “oldies” and regulars signing up today (you’re an oldie and a regular on your second month, we don’t stand on ceremony here, you’re part of the furniture now):
MAY1950 - of course you can join in again, you’re very welcome. All signed up now and well done for the NSD you’ve already nabbed. Good luck with getting the rest.
skaps - all signed up now, good luck with getting your target, you can do it!
CatherineMM - welcome back, all signed up now. Well done for the NSD you’ve already achieved, great start for you, and good luck with getting the rest. You did really well last month so no reason why you can’t make your target, and you’ve got some motivation if you want to buy a house for cash
BlimusOreilly - hi and welcome back, we missed you, good to see you again. All signed up now, good luck with hitting your target - you can do it! Well done for your first one today
Butti - welcome back, all signed up now. Good luck with your target and even more good luck for the interview, keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you - let us know how it goes (if you don’t mind). Well done for your first NSD today, great start!
katenut - lovely to see you back, I was worried about you, glad you’re OK. All signed up now and well done for the 2 you’ve grabbed so far, that’s a great start for you. Thanks for the welcome back, though you might not be quite so pleased when I get my bum kicking smiley out of storage. Good luck, you can do it!
angelflower - all signed up now. Good luck with getting your target this month and well done for your first NSD today
Rock_Cakes - welcome back, glad you enjoyed your holiday (though cycling 284 miles doesn’t seem much like a holiday to me..), you really timed it well for the weather, it’s been lovely. All signed up now and well done for the one you’ve managed to grab so far, great start for you. Hope the first day back at work isn’t too painful, good luck with the job hunting

Lots of NSDs rolling in today, so well done to all the following for their first NSD:
:j:jjinty - hope work today wasn’t too bad and OH managed to work his way through the list of jobs, can’t have him being bored:rotfl:
:j:jbottleofred - great start for you, keep going!
:j:jIf - a great start for you as well, you can do it!! Shame you missed out on the maypole dancing, it was fun:T
:j:jsuzie wong - and another great start, your purse needs a chance to recover from yesterday
:j:jjnaden - hope work was OK today, a good way to stop spending though
:j:jkathy40uk - love the picture of you stealing your own TV, made me chuckle:rotfl:.... well done for getting rid of it though. How’s Lara doing? Hope she’s settled in well to her new home? Sounds as though you have a busy week ahead - and please don’t mention loo rolls on here, you’ll start them all off again:eek:
:j:jbellkat - that sounds like a lovely (and spend-free) day to me, glad you enjoyed it
:j:jSusi_Wa - hope the BBQ went well, sounds fun!
:j:jAlyBaly - I love surprise NSDs, they are definitely the best. Hope you had a good day with your mum.
:j:jBM - oh dear, your poor fingers hope they heal up soon, good news about the car parking though
:j:jBuffy - you can always tell us what you’ve been buying if it helps. I love flowers, hope you’re pleased with yours? What have you been doing in the shed (if it’s not rude to ask, of course:D), there’s lots of shed clearing going on here at the moment, part of the Spring ritual, I think
:j:jmeersy22 - great start for you and fingers crossed for no 2 tomorrow
:j:jKerry78 - great start for you as well, keep going now!
:j:jhoney - and a great start for you too, we’ll forget about today though, shall we? I’m fine thanks, everything’s good at the moment. Fingers crossed everything goes OK with your S.Dad, hope the 6-week check goes well.
:j:jkatholicos - back on the NSD wagon, well done! Fingers crossed for lots more for you
:j:jshezam - that is definitely the aim of this thread - organise your spends to minimise the amount of time spent in shops and thus minimise the temptation to spend. Well done, that was some mega-resisting today, you deserve a star for that
:j:jrising from the ashes - yep, definitely a busy thread this month. Well you might be on holiday this week but it’s only one week out of four so don’t let that put you off, just do the best you can and pick up the challenge again next week. Enjoy your week off
:j:jPaP - well on the way to your 18 now, you can do it!
:j:jPalema - great start for you, keep going now!
:j:jebayqueen - great start for you as well, I can’t believe it’s May either!
And well done to all the following for their second NSD:
:j:jfedupandskint - brilliant start to the month for you and well on your way to your 6 in a row now! Hope the batch cooking and studying both went OK?
:j:jCatherineMM - definitely off to a flying start, that’s brilliant!
:j:jKeiss 21 - definitely breezy here, nearly lost some of my washing! Another busy day for you (as usual), hope work is OK tomorrow
:j:jcatslovelycats - hope the job application goes OK, good luck. You’re doing well this month, keep going, you can get your target
:j:jmiss_t - great start to the month for you, well done. Eek to tomorrow, that sounds painful and good luck with the shopping as well. Of course you can try for 3 in a row, I’ll add you to the front page for that as well - good luck!
:j:jMadone13 - and a great start for you as well, and a surprise NSD due to no pitch fees, that is definitely a bonus! Eek to tomorrow, but fingers crossed for Wednesday for you
:j:jdonna dynamo - you’ve had a busy day by the sounds of it, not surprised you haven’t had time to spend. I’ve got a pile of ironing here, would you like to do it?:rotfl:
:j:jbeanielou - well done for all the decluttering, just think how good you’re going to feel when it’s all done. Sorry you’re cream crackered though
:j:jPiggyBankShaker - yay to the DIY keeping you out of the shops, that’s the way to go!!
Fingers crossed for the disciplined new you tomorrow!
:j:jelfen - great start for you as well and fingers crossed for no 3 tomorrow. Are you moving again? If so, hope it all goes well. The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

And hello to:
boultdj - loads of time to grab NSDs, the month has only just started.
shezam - stay strong, resist the chocolate, you know you can do it!
WelshWoofer - there are loads of days left in May, don’t worry about no 2 eluding you just yet. Your OH sounds just like mine, send him out for something and he can’t find it (I think it’s an excuse actually, act dumb and I won’t send him out again)
Nargle - great news about the car boots, especially as they were both fairly quiet. Hmm..... next outing, I’ll have to have a think about where we’re allowed to go now considering we’re banned from our usual venues.. thinking cap on
CompBunny - oh dear.... I’ve just spotted the “f” word, we don’t “fail” on this challenge - the word isn’t allowed here - we just “sometimes don’t quite get there”. Anyway, there are loads of potential NSDs left in May, far too early to be even thinking about that.
Re partner spending - it depends on your rules and whether you’re including his spends or just yours. Have a look at BigMumma’s post for some ideas, hope that helps?
Lula - you’ll have to get back in practice for our outings, can’t have you passing out all the time.. Eeek to the recorder - they are the devil’s work, I’ve got some earplugs if you want some.
sf - food is the ruin of so many NSDs unfortunately, fingers crossed for tomorrow
BDINI - grrr to the hoover, why do appliances insist on breaking down at the most inconvenient moments? You did get a bargain in the trousers though, they’ll probably save you money in the long run and that wine in Tatco is definitely a bargain.
PS: Well done for making your April target - I must have missed that.
wit40iwtwan - don’t feel guilty for relaxing during your time off, that’s what time off is for, hope you enjoyed it and well done for not spending most of the time. Hope the first day back at work goes better than you think it will
Phew... that was a mammoth update...
Oops.. nearly forgot, I'm on no 2 as well and keeping my fingers crossed for no 3 tomorrow
Front page all updated now, see you all tomorrow.
‘night everyone

Morning!
Well yesterday was an NSD although when I declared one a little too early on sunday, OH then promptly asked if I could get some strawberries, so it ended up being a low spend day. Yesterday was not declared, to make up for that. However today will be an NSD, as got the day off and with OH off to work in the car, there is no way of me getting to the shops to spend. So declaring NSD number 2 today thanks.
Have a great day everyone.

I have woke up in a an amazingly good mood so just wanted to share the love.

Hi all,
Still playing catch up!
Can you sign me up for 14 NSD in May please, don't want to try for any more yet as I am going to try and see DDs as spends this time!
Well Sunday was spendy, takeaway (naughty!) and drinks!
Monday out for dinner but it wasn't paid by me so NSD 1
And today, well I'm counting DDs as spends so today DEFINITELY isn't a NSD!! Bye bye wages!!
