Thanks for posting, Ed and Squirrel
Thanks also to MWC and Alchemilla for thanking
Ed, you have to have at least 2 DDs to qualify for any of the benefits of the 123 account - the interest and the cashback.
Got three and a half of the afternoon jobs done now, but am going to have to make a start on one of the evening ones next. Watch this space. I think I'm still in with a chance of getting the whole lot done before bedtime.
The spreadsheet is totally up to date, anyway.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Thanks for the support everyone. Have now got everything done except one afternoon item and one evening item. Am going to see how much I can get done in the next half hour and then call it a day. Well done on achieving so much today :TFroggy's New Lillypad FundTotal so far: £ 10,009.770 -
Thanks Froggy.
Well, I've got the final "afternoon" item done. And the last "evening" item is something that can be done at bedtime while winding down for sleep anyway. So that's sorted. I won't actually cross it off the list on here until I've done it, though, so that'll have to wait for tomorrow.
Will have to make another list for tomorrow. I got way more done today than I would have done without the list. It seems to help me to divide it up into sections of the day, too, even if I don't end up sticking to them.
List for tomorrow:
1) Check mortgage and update sig
2) Lots of other things I'll decide about and put on the list tomorrow morning. List making is a good "waking up" activity for me to do before I drag myself out of bed.
Tonight I am grateful for
1) Getting lots done today
2) Next door coming round with something nice for us
3) Kids helping with some of my list items - wouldn't have got it all done otherwise
4) Not having to get up early tomorrow
5) Encouraging text message from a friendStarting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Oh no Lois, I think I may have missed the 'window' to catch up with you before you get sucked backed into the rest of term!
I am well impressed with your money management - even just paying the £1800 'trades bill' would have been quite a feat:T
Catch up with you again in the summer:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D
C'mon nattypants:cool:0 -
No no, NP, it's half term all week.
I'll try not to abandon this place completely once term starts again next week, but I'm a bit of an "all or nothing" kind of girl. I can do "being on MFW every hour or two all day" and "nothing" but having trouble with any sensible middle ground.
The trades bill has seriously depleted my "bills and savings" virtual pot, but so far I've been able to steer clear of dipping into the emergency fund itself. Something else has broken yesterday, though, that will need a tradesperson to fix within the next few days, so we'll have to see how much that costs.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Perhaps it would be healthier if I binged on  or :EasterBun

An improvement on yesterday! Got all the morning items finished by 3:15.
One of them was to update my spreadsheet and sig. A tiny bit of my EF is left in an account that gets its interest on the 26th - 18p this month.I also got £30.48 that I found in an account I'd emptied last month because I could get a better rate elsewhere - but it got some interest after I'd emptied it, and I hadn't been back to look at it. So that's been added to the rest of the pot now.
So the next input should be when the Santandr 123 and Ntionwide accounts get their interest (and cashback for the 123). Think that's going to be on the 1st, but not totally sure.
The milestone for today's sig update is that my daily interest is now below £4.80. Onwards and downwards, everyone!
Now to start on the afternoon items.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49
