    As long as you're alive!

I've just finished my last day of uni today, then exams at end of month, so you probably won't see me either!

    Glad you're well x

Thank you Alchemilla, teapot, Calfuray & MCI for missing me and posting.

It's half term! All my exam classes are on exam leave, and there's a break in the work load for a bit until the younger ones start doing tests and exams and needing reports written about them.

My spreadsheet is woefully out of date, and I'm in no position to update my sig yet, but I thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive. :)

Targets for the end of half term:
Get spreadsheet up to date :)
    Update sig :D
Clear desk (the one at home, not the one at school) :o
Deal with pile of boxes beside said desk - the "pile of peril"
Get DS to make significant progress on the chaos in his room
Get DD to make significant progress on the chaos in her room

PS I'll try to catch up on other people's threads, but may miss some stuff. Has anything important happened to any of the regulars that I ought to know about?

    Thanks skinty

I'll start as I mean to go on with another of those lists of things to be grateful for, and then I'm going to go and do some laundry - exciting days!

    Today I am grateful for
    1) Half term :D
    2) DS and DD playing nicely together this morning :)
    3) Sunshine :)
    4) Washing machine - would not want to have to lug all this laundry to launderette or do it by hand
    5) MFW - so glad to be back :)

Yes. I STILL can't get my spreadsheets to show a 0 balance :(.

    Welcome back :j
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Just stopping by to say 'hello' From your signature it seems that we're in a fairly similar position mortgage-wise (and we're both teachers). I don't have kiddiwinks though - just lots of chooks and a cat. I've subsribed so that I can cheer you along, plus I just like being nosey. ;)

  • Nothing new happened to me, maybe a couple of pounds heavier, blame it on the long winter!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Microsoft didn't reply to your complaint about the bug in Excel, then?

Nice to see you again. Thanks for the welcome.

Another teacher? We're practically taking over the board. There are so many of us I can't keep track of quite how many, but it's always good to have another one. I guess there will be lots like me managing to post (or post more) during the next week. :)

I know the feeling. I used to walk all year round - had to because of the dog. Since he died, I get shamefully little exercise in the winter. :o

But that isn't all that's happened to you, is it? I've just been reading your thread and you've shaved loads off your mortgage. :T
