i cant understand it myself to be honest but maybe we will find out

He seems to regularly use both identities interchangeably to post to the same threads...?

    No idea!

for anyone who hasnt noticed we seem to have an AE here(not an AE as such but hes got the same username but just slight differences), look at the post count for the poster who posted reply 53 the same for reply 49, 1 poster has 15 posts and the other has 210

I don't know what an "AE" is and I have no idea why my posts are showing different numbers. I do know that I was advised some time ago to change my user name because it was too close to my real identity.

Does it really matter anyway? This is a forum, not an agency for amateur detectives!

Yes, Unison, but they're not helping. They make noises but do nothing!

In which case you may want to making a more significant change than from 'WoodruffsDad' to 'woodruffsdad'. Amateur detectives or not, that's unlikely to throw anyone off the scent of your real identity.

I'm guessing he had a completely different username before, and changed it to WoodruffsDad, then had issues with the registration and went to register again, got the "That username is already taken" warning and then registered under woodruffsdad as well - probably his cookies are now going mental.

Maybe the shadow is Woodruff. :D
  • My original name was something very close to my real name. On advice from this forum I changed it to "woodruffsdad". I have never done ANYTHING else to change it or renew it. I am as confused as you are as to why my posting score changes from post to post

Could it be anything to do with the fact that I post on a Dell PC at work and an Apple iMac at home?
