That occurred to me too. If a friend tells you to "get a life" then how good a friend is that person really? I think gettingready is perfectly content and already has a life.
Maybe those "friends" are secretly jealous as they are not happy with their own lives. When you have nice animals and a family you don't need other people to make it right as you have it all in your own home.
And i am editing to add a family need not be partners or humans...0 -
LOL
Thanks for posting here.
Half past 11 at night, I am sleeping on a camp bed in the living room as have a visitor (2 days to go).
As sooon as I put the bed out - 3 cats are on it stretched sooooooooooooooooooooooo all over that I am not sure if I am going to fit, cat number 4 is on the desk next to monitor. Zara by the bed flat on the floor belly up - very ladylike-not with her back legs all over the place LOL
Got a great book to read, some roll ups (cant afford fags but started rolling my own some weeks ago)... what a total blissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss0 -
I rarely post on this board but had to on this thread!
People.............................or animals.............let me see.
Night out begrudgingly spending money at a place I'd rather not be, seeing loads of people getting drunk/drunkenly snogging the face off someone who isnt their partner/getting home really late/having a hangover the next day. And this is after buying "the" outfit, hooking out your makeup and fighting a losing battle with your hair. All in the name of "having a life".
Or
Having my fave food on a tray in front of the tv, watching a decent horror movie and having my pets cuddled up. Dont have to dress up. No makeup. Odd socks.
Bliss!
1 step closerIf you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome!

We live in harmony with no arguments (ok, a few 'no!!'s), they give me great pleasure and companionship, dare I say it, far more then any of my exes who were human!
Same here,I am watching the tv,cold beer next to me & Daisy cat asleep on my lap.I'm single but have a g/f who doesn't live with my.I'm quite happy as I am,thank you. Daisy's there when I get home & I love her to bits..and I'm a man!:p0
